I am a Buckeye...proof there is a God in Heaven who loves me.
Honestly, I look at the schedule and I see every game as a "can win". That said, I think 10-2 is a realistic expectation. As everyone well knows there will be games we come out flat and get behind early only to pull close in the fourth and then it's a 50/50 shot. I think it'll be a big learning year for Brax and the recievers and the team will go as they go.
Yeah, I said it.
I tend to agree with what the OP said. Lets be real about this. This is a team with a new staff and philosophy...regardless of how good both of those may be, there will be a learning curve. Lets not forget that our offense still needs a lot of work, mostly at WR and Oline. Our Oline is ONE injury away from disaster. Our WR's, while some have great potential, are currently mediocre, and we also have a lack of depth at that position. I expect our defense to be good to great, but we are thin at linebacker and safety. It's not easy to go undefeated, it takes some amount of luck...even with a great team. I would love to go undefeated and give college football the bird...but I won't be surprised if we lose a game or two.
12-0 would be close to a miracle. anything between 9-3 and 11-1 is fine with me, as long as we beat m*chigan.
11-1 would absolutely suck if the one loss is to m*chigan,
