  • Can anyone tell me how Courtney Love doesn't make the list, there has to be something else going on with this kid..... grades? His character? I don't know why he is rated so low???????

    i noticed that also. They have him as a RB which to me is suprising. Thought for sure they would have him as a WR.
    They also have DeVeon Smith (RB from Ohio) ranked ahead of Burrows which is way off. He is also ahead of Price which should be opposite. But ahead of Burrows? Really? no way he is better ranked prospect.

    I also noticed that Dymonte Thomas & Jalin Marshall, the only 5 star kids from Ohio are also the last 2 ranked 5 stars. They are #34 & #35 on the list which are all 5 stars. #36 starts the 4 stars. So they barelly even made the 5 star cut it seems like.

They have three Scout 5 stars(the most in the country): Pennsylvania guard Patrick Kugler (No. 25 overall), Warren DeLaSalle quarterback Shane Morris (No. 28) and Ohio safety Dymonte Thomas (No. 35). The pendulum should swing in the other direction but, for now, .....first couple rounds to the ScUMers on points.

    If so, solely by coincidence ! The Desert Sage is not a fan of me nor I of him.... Been that way for nearly a year.

    EDIT for one further comment. I'm fully aware that this is a SCOUT ranking list and, as such, it is but one ranking of many out there.

    according to their rankings we got one hell of a class that will be joining the BUCKS. if we can land ten or more of these guys

  • interesting stuff. gotta flip dymonte thomas! surprised to see trubisky get 4 stars. also a little surprised to see shelton gibson get 4- clearly a speed thing because his film, to me, is not that good (at least what we have on scouting ohio). wish we were in better standing with isaac, although there's a long way to go. also glad to see the munger offer as i think he's as good, if not better, than price.

    Ed Orgeron at USC is one of the best defensive minds in college football, and easily one of the top recruiters. Monte Kiffin is as good as it gets as a defensive coordinator, his track record impeccable. USC spits LB's out to the NFL.
    Mike Stoops had a top 10 defense every year as the DC at Oklahoma, and he is back to do the same. His defenses at Oklahoma were the reason they won a BCS title and got to a few more.
    I will take Orgeron and Monte Kiffin's evaluations from USC, plus Mike Stoops at Oklahoma with their offers to Love than a bunch of bumbling pundits from Scout.
    You look at the LB's Dantonio had as AA's and in the NFL from OSU and MSU, and Bo Pelini at LSU and Nebraska, and their offer to Love speaks volumes.
    Forget Scout's annual ball juggling act of recruits, look at a few of the best defensive coaches and minds in college that I listed above that want Courtney Love, that is all you have to know. I doubt USC, Oklahoma, Nebraska and OSU care a whole lot about those rankings as well.

    I think Marshall is ranked about right personally. I think most are too high on him. He is not a top 10 player in the country.

    Burrows is too low.

  • College coaches don't care about rankings. It's totally up to every staff & position coach to do their own evaluation of prospects not some writer who never played the game.

    Cam Burrows was ranked #5 in Ohio by the Scout locals; basing their positioning on proven performance, not potential......... following Marshall, Thomas, Smith and Lisle.
