Thanks Mike As my second post.....it means a lot! GO BUCKS!

Think its more of this being a negative post and having only 33 posts. Looks like the usual troll post we see from the free month guys.

We are both atheists. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours

I guess maybe a little negative, but if it is a troll post he sure put in a ridiculous amount of effort.

  • Well damn.. I guess we might as well just pack it up and go home since they had more 5 stars..

  • Rankings in recruiting are just opinions. The class from 3 years ago had USC as top recruit class in the nation. The team was unranked at the end of this year. Aub and Texas were in top 6 or 7 too and what did they do on the field this year? Not much. Yea we watch the players and pay attention to the gurus, but it doesnt always play out that way.

That is exactly what we were saying, good observation.

  • buckeyegary,
Keep in mind that this site is basically built on enthusiasm for OSU football recruiting. Positive OSU recruiting news is what drives bucknuts. Urban Meyer is the best recruiter in the country. The 2013 OSU recruiting haul is the greatest of all time. 2014 is going to be even better, etc, etc. So anytime you post something negative (or even something that suggests you are less than supremely confident) about recruiting it is going to draw attention and most of that attention will be negative.

  • It will never come down to a single recruiting class meaning victory on the field. It has to be consistant good classes, filling needs, gaining depth, and meshing with veteran players and getting the right chemistry and everyone on the same page buying in. OK, I'm out of cliche's

Bama has 6 now; OSU has 1. Can we still compete or is it 2 or 3 years down the road.? GO BUCKS!

kids get an extra star once they commit to AL. No worries....

  • On paper Notre Dame should be a NC contender every year. Same with USC and Texas. It is so much more than just who has the most stars.

I agree and it's arguable the USC was worse after their rediculous classes than before they landed all of their five stars in the last of their great classes. I think it comes down to heart and desire, because on paper they should've won't at least teo more championships.
