Aaron Craft feature piece from ESPiN

to play the type of 'D' he plays ....

Craft has tons of athleticism that the average guys only dream of having.

Lateral quickness, footwork, hand eye coordination, and his strength set him apart from average athlete.

Obviously its his motor that is the 'Key' to his success but its foolish to say anything about Craft is average.

We all know that - but this writer of the article clearly misses the mark on 'Craft'.

Agreed, his hand/eye coordination simply can't be taught or coached up. It's a unique gift he was born with.

Out of all the guards in that article, the only one I want to see Craft compared to is Hurley.

I never saw Wojo and Paulus as being integral to Duke's success. Fife and Kramer barely registered a blip. All those guys were one dimensional role players. I want Craft to be more. Maybe so he doesn't just fit the bill of this stereotype.

Yeah pretty much the only thing those guys had in common is they were all white. Hurley was a beast. Wojo, Kramer and Fife were alright. I would put Craft ahead of them.

  • Why are people fixated on whether he is white or black? I was such a big fan of Archie Griffins for 4 years at Ohio State, have met him a few times...and one day some one told me he was black.....and honestly I had never thought of that......and as if it would make a difference......its like watching the Wisconsin basketball team, and seeing 4 of the 5 on the floor as white....Duh....some where people are thinking too much....it is what it is...
