According to a bleacher report....

  • It says the big 10 needs to get better or ohio state will get left out of the game.. Quoting Urbans remarks about the league recruiting better.. Do you believe that? I don't . And what was bamas strength of schedule compared to osu? I have a buddy who insists the big needs to get better, I don't give two sh*ts bout rest of the league .

    Then you don't get it. OSU's SOS was like 58th last year while Alabama's was in the mid 30s. OSU's SOS in 2013 will be lower as they won't play Nebraska or Michigan State. Meyer knows what you apparently don't want to admit. OSU could be left out of the NC game next year due to their SOS. I have heard more than one BCS rating expert say that OSU would not have qualified for the NC game in 2012 BCS ratings due to low SOS.

    And in the SEC you're guaranteed at least one and in most cases two to three top 10(in the country) conference opponents per year per team. You're lucky to get one top 10 conference opponent in the B1G per year and that would basically be any team playing OSU.

    Take OSU out of the B1G and it's essentially the MAC or whatever the hell conference Boise State plays in these days.

    While this is true, one has to keep in mind, the scheduling that happens is sometimes very far in advance...such as with Cal last year.When scheduled, they were strong in the pathetic 10. As we know, they have fallen on hard times lately. No one should question OSU's OOS as we have done the Texas/SC in times past. I do agree that we need to have a stronger conference. No question. It's hard to have a conference get stronger though when you have an idiot coach who I won't name state in public that speed is not important at WR? This is stone age thinking and I hope the rest of the conference doesn't adhere to this moronic line of thinking. We all know speed kills and speed on the lines, especially the D line is the area the BIG is way behind the SEC currently. Urban is smartly addressing this need.

  • I'm going to drag up a post I had on TBB to sum up the bleacher report:

    So I took an uncomfortable poop earlier. You know, the kind where you have excruciating stomach pains and you’re just sitting there grimacing and writhing, desperately hoping to eject some poo in order to alleviate the pain. The only problem is the poo won’t come out. You know you have to go. Your body knows it has to go. However, the dookage is MIA. So you’re sitting there in pain, occasionally squeaking out semi-relieving farts but for the most part your butthole is just dry heaving. This was that kind of poop—the type where you’re hunched over and making a face that resembles Robert De Niro sneering at someone, all the while eking out the same little ooh’s, aah’s, and do-da-do’s that Michael Jackson made between the verses of Billy Jean.

    Finally, when you get something to come out, it’s this partly chunky, mainly watery substance that burns your butthole like you’re defecating hot lava. As it’s coming out, you feel some explosions down there and you just know you’re going to have to put the old toilet brush to work when you’re done or else risk embarrassment from others seeing your poo residue in the bowl should they ever need to use your bathroom. The worst part is it will take a lot of wiping to adequately clean yourself up, but you neglected to pick up some Charmin while you were out earlier and sadly, you only have 1 sheet of 2 ply left (two if you count the folded over piece glued to the paper roll). Anyways, that situation is probably the best comparison I have for the Bleacher Report. It’s probably the most accurate classification.

  • Ohio State currently has the nations longest winning streak in D1 football and will be a preseason top 2-3 team in 2013 with a top 5 Heisman favorite QB in an Urban Meyer offense that likes to score a lot of points. Roby could be the Nations #1 CB and Shazier could be the nations #1 LB by seasons end. If we finish the season 25-0 which includes winning the B1G Championship game i have no doubt we will find ourselves in the BCS Championship game as well. And if we get to the BCS Championship game AND WIN, especially if the win is over an SEC team, i highly doubt their will be any problems making the top 4 in a playoff format in the immediate future.

    But if by chance we are standing at 25-0 with the nations longest winning streak and sitting on the outside looking in at the BCS Championship game you can bet your ass that with a bowl win to finish our season we will finish with a split National Championship by being #1 in the AP poll. And a celebration will still be in order from Buckeye Nation. I'm sure the rest of the country would much rather see us lose another Championship game to the SEC as opposed to being left out and hearing us claim split title for a year.
