I think the better solution to this situation is not paying players by universities, but do allow them to own their image. I.e jersey sales, signings. Also allow them to consult agents after selection/admission to a college.

Everybody who competes for and wins NC's is paying their players, don't u already know? That includes most of the SEC, about one third of the Big 12 and definitely USC and Oregon out of the Pac 12, FSU and Clemson out of the ACC with the recruiting hauls they've brought in lately, right? Please feel free to add to this list if I'm missing anyone.

Please. This is a bigger which hunt than who did and didn't take steroids in baseball in the '90's and early '00's.

Do you know how much OSU has cheated in the past? Here in the midwest, we assume Bama and Auburn cheat the most. In other parts of the country, we are lumped right in with them... I just don't wear the goggles, I believe we are just as capable and have cheated just as much. None of us can put a $ amount on it but why waste your time trying to determine who does it more when you have no way of really knowing? We have the largest Alumni base in the country, and the 2nd largest Athletic Dept. in the country only to Texas. Pockets are as deep at tOSU as anywhere els so I won't be the naive slappy buckeye fan who thinks we are squeeky clean.

If you Bama and Auburn to face the death penalty for all of their cheating, be ready to see yours do it also because it goes on at tOSU as well. Do we know exactly how much is shuffled into the hands of our players? NO we don't... but if there was a good investigation of all the schools and everyone began snitching, I'm sure there would be a llot more guilty parties than you think.

Typical... we cheat less, so we're not as bad as they are... what a DA!

Not possible that kinda thing has ever gone on here . As I stated earlier, cheating is restricted mainly to the SEC, USC, Oregon and and a handful of others. Basically every school who's competed for a title in the past 10-15 years except tOSU.
