Munger better move or get off the pot. If Hill did not have the academic catch up issues and he visited and wanted in, he is probably in. I still think you see 1 young DL move to OL, so maybe two more D spots due to that and Hankins going pro if all works out this year. DE Sherit, if he visits OSU, look out. OSU is in great shape with him. Munger may have been giving a warning, move or Hurst gets your spot.

    Exactly what you said.

  • I really want Hill in this class - wouldn't mind waiting on Munger.

I want Sherit in this class and oh hell while I'm at it....Von Bell too and Su'a Cravens. I know U$C will show Cravens the cash and he won't come East of the Mississippi but I'm thinking he looks great in Scarlet and Gray. I go back to Sherit though...he plays with an attitude and I love that. I want D players that just want to crank someone. O83...I think our issue with the DT's is this....Munger will pull the trigger before Hill's grades are set. Gotta think they won't know something about Hills grades until end of May/end of school year unless they can get the school to divulge his grades now. I'm not sure the privacy laws will hamper that. You can't take a kids word on it, right? Here is something else....I'm not trying to be mean but the more and more i look at it the more and more I'm starting to put stock into the competition kids play. I used to think "hey, if the kid looks great on film, he probably is great. Now I look at who they play and if he looks fantastic and is playing crap competition...then I have to reevaluate. These Glenville kids are solid players but besides Ginn and Troy, for the most part they have been solid but not spectacular. TY....dissapointing so far and he played against similar competition. Glenville only plays a few tough games a year and then they play the Cleveland city league....which we all know....stinks. Shaker plays a tougher schedule but it certainly is not the Cinci Catholic league or the Federal league in Stark/Mahoning county. Oh and one last note...Joe Hale....I think will be solid...it looked like that ankle was wrapped up really good in the spring game....it will heal over the summer and he should be ok....they should have probably limited his play but UFM likes them to play with pain if they can so big Joe proved something

I honestly love our chances with Bell. The depth chart at safety has to be very appealing.

I agree with 83 Hale and Farris could be moved to OL...they are young enough to make a huge impact down the road.

IMO you take Hill no matter what but I'll let the coaches do their thing.

  • I want to save this spot for Michael Hill. I think he's a can't miss prospect.

    330buckeye

  • Sounds like only a matter of time before he pops and like others have mentioned I absolutely love his quote; "everybody wants to go there." They sure do buddy!

These coaches know a kids academic situation and monitor it, if they do not looking promising after certain time periods they move on because they have to. The SEC, admissions is not an issue.

  • This one has me a bit apprehensive. I think that Sherit would be a much better get than him for the DL but that is where they told him they were recruiting him for. Price would most likely be best suited for DT. The only way I could get too excited over getting this young man is if he was being considered as a third OL behind Pocic and Lisle and then I would still have question about the competition that he is playing against. Guess just have to trust the Staff on this one. At least he has a decent offer list.

  • To all the people that are so concerned with our oline depth, stop. If Pocic is in, I think that is it on the oline for the year. Urban recognizes that dlines are one of the most important positions on the feild. The Florida, Alabama and LSU dlines are so physically overwhelming that they flat out dominate offenses. Heres to more dlineman.....

i like the fact that the young man could end up at either OL or DL. what's wrong with versatility?

  • I welcome this kid; he will be a great addition to an already outstanding class of D-lineman. When is Coach Meyer going to turn his attention to the O-line and receivers?

If Dorian Johnson wants in you take him. He is taking a trip to Columbus soon. I think Pocic, Lisle, and Johnson would be a homerun by the staff. Especially when you consider Mungher and Price could be moved later to the OL as OG's...

I was operating under the assumption we only had a few spots left. I agree that you take johnson if more spots open, and according to todays BH, bobexk is gone. So with that being said, I would fill his spot with another olineman. Still love an abundance of dline talent over any other position outside of qb

  • Munger is a good player from the limited film I have seen. But it scares me to accept an offer from a kid, who takes plays off.

I just would rather use it else where, or bank the scholly for the 2014 class.

    330buckeye

  • This kid looks good butif he doesn't decide soon he may be left out. Personally id rather see a 1 technique but who knows maybe he'll grow into one.

Thats the crazy part bro we have no idea who is gonna transfer. I would assume when the grades come out a few will transfer. Under the scholarship restrictions and not knowing who is gonna transfer the staff is probably waiting for spaces to open up. In some cases like Jaylon Smith or Quick they probably take that kid no matter what.

I bet their recruiting board looks like a flowchart hahah
