Sick of everyone talking about Urban "over-signing". He never did this in the SEC even when he was going up against the likes of Chronic over-signers Bama, Arkansas, LSU, and Aubie.
Why on earth would he start doing it now in a league that is far more restrictive on the practice???
The media across the board needs to get their facts straight on this one.

exactly. those two were candidates within 6 months of getting on campus.
my guess is hagan who also had issues going back to high school or crowell with that gruesome leg injury also suffered in high school.

That would be the most logical one based upon his tweeting his displeasure about conditioning to Travis Howard while he is injured with his knee. His injuries are sooo documented.
Totally injury prone, nobody knows if he ever will get on the field past ST.
Does he play LB or SS? Who cares. He is never healthy enough to find out.
Now the depth chart does not have room for him unless he goes back to SS..
If he is not the first choice with 3 more years of eligibility, then the second choice for MH would be Jordan Whiting with 2 years of eligibility, who never saw the field last year past minor ST, and did not make a single tackle last year.
Last year ended with many players with injuries, but those two had the worst injuries. IMO

The problem is that Big 10 fans are critical on the medical redshirts from the SEC to free up scholarships and then the first year Meyer is here and the first year the bucks have limited schlorships and the Buckeyes coincidentally have more than ever.

You have to make sure your termanology is correct. There is a medical redshirt and medical hardship. Redshirt means you just miss the year and remain on the team hoping to come back when healthy. You still count toward the schollie limit. A hardship is when it has been determined you can never play again because of your injury. You remain in school on schollie but are no longer part of the team and dont count toward the schollie limit.

I don't know why any medical hardship would be put on Urban. Some of these guys have been rumored for a while. I've been hearing that Crowell's recovery is coming a long nicely. I would concur that Hagan is the likely candidate.

If he was still at fla and had some of these, everyone on the board would be complaining and saying he isn't playing fair. but, now that he is at OSU, it is Ok. Which, btw is OK by me too. Med redshirts happen and you might as well us them to benefit the team and player overall.
