I liked his highlight video. I guess it came down to Luke Roberts being the preferred LB by the staff.

Tyler O'Conner is your Player Of the game for Ohio. Missed some easy throws but made some big plays.

They seemed to have a lot more energy coming out for the second half than they did at the start of the game

Yep, Ohio was missing a ton of elite BCS players.
Do not agree on O'Connor at all, he was awful in large parts of the game and missed open WR's. Murray bailed him out with a great catch and TD run.
Monheim should have won the MVP, his interception turned the game around late and Ohio got a TD after that.
Then Monheim jarred the return for a fumble and an Ohio TD, he was all over the field.
Even the two interceptions by Jones trumped O'Connor.
Monheim and Murray were the best players on the field tonight for winning Ohio. Ball had no help after early drives, they were keying to stop him, he was about all we had as a play maker on offense until Murray dashed for a TD with his speed.

Some thoughts on OSU kids, etc...
Murray made some nice tackles, he is an aggressive kid (not a suprise when you've seen his highlights). He had his hands full in coverage with Lewis. The long pass play he totally got pushed off on. Got to show his speed too. A gamer.
Bogard is sloppy...aggressive and fast but missed 3 tackles from not breaking down. His lack of coverage experience is well.documented, basically a LB at Glenville. Had his moments in coverage, looked bad at times too (long TD and the short one to TE as well-not his man but he was close and lost).
Ball didn't get much blocking but ran tough and showed speed...looked like an OSU-caliber back.
Where was Shell? They didn't play him enough. At all. Kid is good.
O'Connor didn't look that great. In his defense he had minimal time to get ready. Tough for a QB to have chemistry with his WR s after a week of practice.
Jon Richie is a total moron. I would rather have listened.to ESPN's idiot-du-jour Jenn Brown do the game, even.with her warthog laugh.

Thats about to change! ........haha. Props to the Ohio guys for hanging in there. What a great game to be at for an all star game.
