He probably shouldn't say it but it could be true for some players. I don't think Spielman would have won any combine but he was an awesome football player.

As they say, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Perhaps the single most disappointing aspect of the saga of this kid's recruitment is that one poster "porkchop something or other" NOT commenting on all this. To say he was opposed to offering Alex and that he was overrated would be the understatement of the century. Some epic ranting though if you were able to decipher his writing.

You know.... The first time I watched his tape, I was wondering what everyone else was seeing that made Anzalone a top recruit. All I saw was drag down tackles and offensive plays. Nothing really jumped off the screen to me. But, I just decided that people must know better than I, since I've been following this for like 5 months at the time. So I just followed the crowd and was happy.
Anzalone didn't impress me as a football player and he sure as hell didn't impress me as a person.
