What would you consider a "big season"? Also, I don't think you can include the "barring injuries" caveat, that was another concern of those in the camp that wanted Hall to move on.

I imagine he'll have a solid season, nothing spectacular, and this stupid debate will rage on.

An outstanding season for Hall would be about 8-10 touches per game 4-5 receiving and 4-5 rushing on jet sweeps and counter plays. Average production at about 8 yards per catch and 7 or so per rush.

In Percy Harvin's last season he had 9 touches and roughly 10 yards per each rushing and receiving.

Jordy will get lots of his touches in the red zone and he isn't nearly as fast as Percy so his production esp rushing will be lower.

For people rightly concerned about injuries note that last season he had 40 touches in parts of 3 games and they were all rushing touches. That's about 3 times more rushing touches per game than he will see this season. Ironically the 40 rushes in parts of 3 games would be nearly a full season worth but they'll be much different plays used as constraint as opposed to base so he isn't going to be getting pounded as much as he was.

Does eating crow get us to the BCSNCG? I've said all along I wasn't I favor of him coming back..if he has a big year, awesome. Football doesn't start for months...what is the point of a will you eat crow next year thread? ...are you gonna eat crow for asking others if they will eat crow ? ..

If Hall has a BIG season, does that necessarily mean that the freshmen that weren't playing wouldn't also have had a great season? Maybe, just maybe, he'll have a great season because of the system and not the player. That has happened a few times in college football.
No, I won't eat crow no matter how many touchdowns he scores. I'm still of the mindset that all things being equal, give me the younger player.

What is a big season? Your idea of it and mine could vary. I don't think it's even about eating crow, so to speak. Is there anyone who thinks he won't or can't contribute? Or that some feel you may get comparable on the field results from the freshman?

I have always been a Hall fan since he was on campus. No doubt I believe he will be the biggest playmaker apart from Braxton and Hyde. I was shocked watching so many Bucknutters tear him down. It was amazing. Even Urban praises this guy, and the fact people still don't agree with Urban Meyer is almost too dumb to even comment on. lol.

If by "eating crow" do you mean am I afraid to be wrong? No. Does it make anyone who's magic crystal ball said something else better than me? No. I'm wrong all the time every day. I'm right too. So is everyone else. Guessing right doesn't really make someone better. Just means you got lucky. I don't think guessing right means its ok to rub it in. Everyone who was wrong knows they were wrong. No need to bring it up. They know it. You know it. Those who were right know they were right along with everyone else who paid attention.

The whole pecker measuring thing is not something I like engaging in.
