  • I don't understand why EZE is playing safety...I get that he is an amazing athlete but if he isn't getting good reps at either position then what is the point?

  • I know EZE competition level was skeptoical, Does this say anything about players? If they don't get reps do the coaches think others are better? Or just happen stance?

    His competition was not elite however he was so dominant that of the coaches allow him to focus on only rb I'm sure he'd blossom in a year or two. I personally never look for s true freshman to make an instant impact unless it's in a certain package like what a kid like Jalin marshall could do, but even then only in certain packages.

  • Its nice to have all these recruits getting extra work in these all star games and if things work out thee Ohio State will be getting National media attention each time one of these kids picks us or puts on one of our hats!!!

  • Maybe i am thinking completely out of the box here but does anyone feel that urban told the coaches to use him at safety cause he may end up there in college?? Look at some of the TOP RB we are in on in 2014 and maybe UFM doesn't want EZE to get buried on the depth chart?? I don't know what got me thinking these things but maybe its because i have been up since midnight and have worked out the last two hours and now heading into work for a breezy 12 hr day...YEA cant wait!! Have a great day Bucknutters!!

    Makes sense thanks. So him not playing really isn't saying much about if he's better or worse than the other guys there!

    +1 This is one prob I had with Tress and am looking forward to more from Meyer is utilizing the Tight End. I watched the OSU-Oregon game yesterday and Ballard bailed us out the Bucks with the great alley-oop reception late. It bugged me Ballard was not used more. We are already seeing it from Urb and in the pros. I thought TE was being phased out until I saw this. Now it is a cherished weapon (again).

    Nope, I think you are right on. Urb has seen him at RB, but right now we need depth at safety...especially one with his kind of speed. With so many teams going to the spread it is important to have speed at safety. If Hall and Hyde return, we will have nice depth and experience in the backfield. Essentially, it is last year's, but with more experience and Ball. So, why not give it a look during a meaningless all-star game.

  • I'm glad I'm finally hearing about Evan Lisle. Prior to this article (and another recent article), all I had heard about the guy was that he's a top ten tackle nationally per most recruiting sites, along with a rumor from someone saying he won't be as good as Taylor Decker but he'll be solid. Hearing he is playing nasty while earning the praises of future SEC defensive ends is a nice little surprise for me. I want to hear more about this kid.

    I 2nd this. Tell me more about this kid. I LOVE that we are hearing things like "Mean" & "Nasty Streak" That is what I want in my Oline.

    Centerville has had some NICE prospects in the last
    few years.
