I don't think many people understand how big the games at Rutgers and MD would be if this goes through. Mich, MSU, OSU, Penn State, Indiana, and others have a huge alumni fan base in the NYC and DC area. This would lead to Rutgers and probably MD selling out every home game, and kids being more excited about playing for them. NJ has great HS football talent, as does MD... they would be much more willing to play for the home town team if these games were sold out and on big time TV. I think we would see both of their teams get better very quickly and most likely be in the top tier of the conference.
