Bam Bradley’s Dilemma

  • http://ohiostate.247sports.com/Article/Bam-Bradleys-Dilemma--57593

    Is OSU target Bam Bradley taking another official visit this weekend? Who is left on his list? When will he announce? And what is his dilemma? Bucknuts has the answers.

    Bill Kurelic

  • Bill,

    Do you have any info on his rankings nationally as a Safety?

    buckeye252007

  • Would love to see Bam stay home and be a Buckeye. If not, I wish him nothing but luck.

    Always borrow money from a pessimist; he won't expect it back.

  • pretty sure God doesn't give two sheets about Stanford or Ohio State's depth chart at safety...

  • Come on Bam stay home and be part of the Trotwood pipeline with Burrows. You aren't going to play for a BCS championship at Stanford or Pitt. Trust Urban to lead you to the promise land

    Does it bother you that he'd pray about it?

  • It seems that it does bother him since he took the time to comment. The next civil liberty argument will be that praying to God about where to go to college will be fringing on the rights of others... lol

    It kinda bothers me. (Not just Bradley, but anybody who proclaims they have to pray on a question to figure out an answer.)

    To me it means either:
    A) They can't make a decision (and are searching for a cosmic sign to make it for them);

    B) They are being disingenuous;

    C) They are deluded;

    D) or All of the above.

    Edit: BTW, "I haven't decided yet" is a perfectly legit answer.

  • "I haven't decided yet" is not how he feels.
    HE hasn't decided because he believes the decision is not left totally up to him. He's searching for a peace about his decision

    Fortunately he's allowed to claim a God, and dedicate his life to his God.
    Being that he's comfortable turning inward for the peace about his decisions, I suspect he'll keep right on doing it.

    If it bothers folks such as yourself, you can feel free to spend your time judging him on how he lives his life.
    I've got no problem with him praying about his decision OR making mention of the reason why he "hasn't made up his mind yet"

    EDIT to add the "mention" to clarify that last sentence.

  • +100pray is Good!!!

    I personally believe he is heading to Pitt to be with his brother. This allows his mother to see both him and his brother playing together. I wish him the best but....I would much rather see him to be the first to start the Trotwood pipeline to Urbanville!!!!

    I MUST go a little Bucknuts every day.

  • Have any of you ever been to Pittsburgh? I can't believe God would want anyone to go there!

  • God has a plan for all of us. Time in prayer is one of the best ways to figure out what it is. Bam clearly seems torn on a big decision in his life - I hope he gets some clarity through prayer.

  • why anyone would choose Pitt over a tOSU or for that matter a Stanford is beyond me. Aside from playing time...but...I would much go to a program that has NCG implications & Pitt has had how many coaches in the last 4 years?? Stability is not their strong suit. As far as Praying in order to reach his conclusion...I have to give him props on that...but God loves THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY so i think we are cool

  • Having known his family and free up with them in church he does have a dilemma. His family is very close and he and his mother are super close. All the sons are close with the mom. His older brother Chris stayed home to attend Univ of Dayton to play basketball, Nick just went to the next state over to Pitt, Bam wants to stay close as well but also is thinking Stanford he can be close to a brother and his mom can see them both and thinking the same for Pitt. If he chooses Ohio State which I hope he does she then have to travel between Pitt and Ohio State on Saturday having to miss some games of each which I am sure she can work out but she rather and they rather her make one trip! So we shall see. FYI Im an Ohio State alum and want him home!

  • I like the God thing. The kid needs to get it right (though I have met people who pray about what shirt to wear).

  • Playing close to his bro out west seems risky. His bro was a undrafted free agent by golden state. The chances of his bro being on that team and not traded/cut within the next 4 years are pretty much slim to none.

    Koufos, Cook and Mullens who first round guys already have seen multiple teams and Bradley is going to just assume his bro will be a golden state 4 years? Wonder if thought what if he signs with Stanford and the next day is bro is in Milwaukee? Not smart. Playing for Pittsburgh not smart. They dont win squat and play where we people could carelss about their program. A lot of bad thinking will lead to him regretting this decision one day.

    Not from Columbus or Pittsburg, but are you serious? Pittsburg is so much nicer.
