Buchanon never senses a rush, never.
You never see him peak up, see it coming, step around it and side wind it.
He always has his head down and it slow and takes 3 steps, just pathetic. He has never improved any year.
When you need a punt inside the 10, he booms it in the end zone.
Even on that fake punt vs. Nebraska, the play was blocked well and if he stays outside he has a big game. He runs right into a DL to get tackled for no first down.

I won't miss him. He's just not all that good. It's been too long since Trapasso, Sander, and Groom were flipping the field.

I don't know if you can call a punter one of the bigger recruiting disappointments. But if you can, he is on the short list. People were talking about him being both the kicker and punter when he was recruited. He got a catchy nickname , "The Cannon", before he ever earned it. He has easily been the worst punter OSU has had since the new millennium. Jon Thoma, a walk-on, was way better. I can't imagine whoever steps in next year not being an upgrade.

Plus he doesn't wear socks. I cannot abide any player who doesn't wear socks.
