He may not be listed as a starter right now, but sophomore defensive lineman Michael Bennett is definitely in Ohio State's plans this year.

Total stud. Excited we potentially will have this kid for another three seasons. Having a front of Carter, Hankins and Bellemy in the center with Simon and Bennett at the ends is formidable for goal line stands.

He's a great kid. He's going to be a great contributor on the field and a hell of a representative off the field if he can continue to handle his personal adversity. Can't wait for him to reach his 100%!

GOOD A DEFENSIVE TACKLE MB IS , HE'S EVEN A BETTER OFFENSIVE TACKLE. MAYBE ONE OF THE BEST IN THE STATE A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO !!

Good for Bennett. I hate that Tressel had to go, but he left quite a good group of players for Urban to work with, and for that (and many other reasons) I gotta keep loving JT.

Ok, I'm happily married and 63 y/o so don't take this the wrong way but I definetly have a man crush on this kid, smart, articulate, hard worker, polite, and a Buckeye through and through. No hype and no look at me attitude, gotta love it. Watching him come off the edge during the spring game, he and John are gonna force a lot of QB's into the waiting arms of Big Hank, oh yeah!!!!!

Meyer said he was going to rotate in Bennett in spite of him being behind Hankins. So who are the 4 best linemen?
Gonna assume 3 of them are Hankins, Simon, and Bennet. Who is the fourth?

just like Big Hank will be gone after this year...
Buckeyes starting to get drafted high 1st round again ....
so let us enjoy this future NFL star the next 2 years

I disagree for one thing he hasn't done anything yet a. .s far as big Hank he said only if he was projected to go top pick would he leave.. this kid Bennett might end up on Offense. And even if he doesn't. We have alot of D - Lineman and all of them want playing time. HE HAS ALOT OF WORK TO DO! !!

Id imagine u will see about 6 or maybe 7 guys playing mostly at the 3 spots with the 3 freshmen getting a lot of reps at the wsde position unless they r just totally not ready...but I think they willbe and they'll get their shots.
