The People's Champ chimes in on a sports landscape gone mad which seems to be working in Ohio State's favor ...
The People's Champion
+1 just for the following quote from the article and slapping hokie in the process....
"This is the recruiting version of waltzing over to Fred Flintstone’s lunch table, drinking his milk, pegging him in the face with the carton, and taking his shoes and lunch money before dumping his spaghetti on his lap while everyone watches. "
Bizzaro world will become the norm under The Urbanator. He's turning our recruiting world on it's ear. We'll win some and we'll lose some, but it's very exciting watching this staff work. Top notch read, Bax!! Thanks.
Yeah, I said it.
"Ever need a clearer example of how Ohio State is playing chess compared to the rest of the B1G’s checkers?"
Lets just say the rest of the conference is bringing a knife to a gun fight..
"The truth is, Urban’s recruit-or-die coaching mentality has been absorbed by his entire staff and they’re flat-out outworking other coaches."
This is the key to all our happiness. The minute the news came out that chip was leaving Meyer's, "flip the ducks" plan when into action and bam we are talking to 4 guys... the only reason it isnt more is because 1) thats all he wanted or 2) they said flat out no.

PAY THE PRICE FOR VICTORY TODAY
"To give anything less than your best
is to sacrifice the gift."
Nice read as always Bax
"Would you have guessed Vonn Bell’s visit to Ohio State in January would feature 60 degree weather and sunshine while his visit to Alabama would feature a genuine friggin’ snowfall?"
Loved the article Bax! And I'm happy to hear that the supposed cold northern school didn't take a back seat to those Bama's! The tide is about to get rolled... Bucktown baby!!!!
Wait until Tressel takes the open President's job at Youngstown State
Bax you disappoint me. Fred Flintstone did not wear shoes. He had to stop his car with his bare feet for cryin' out loud! Seriously, tho. Great article.
