I would beat my mom's ass if she named me "Courtney Love." Apparently it made him tough, ala, the /Boy Named Sue./
_ichigan Football would be Minnesota without The Great State of Ohio!! O-H! I-O!
can we finally put to bed the notion from the Matta apologists that he is some kind of innocent bystander without a hand in the piss poor ending to this regular season? They're all HIS guys, running HIS system and it's clearly not working as it was in Nov/Dec and the coaching staff has not rectified the situation at all. What do they do in practice because clearly it's not FT shooting or improved ways to get Sully the rock on the paint as both the aforementioned skills are in the toilet on this team. Again, not saying he should be canned or on a "hot seat" BUT things could get very interesting (not in a good way) should things play out as follows; no regular or conf tourney title followed by another quick exit in NCAAs, followed by Sully,DT and perhaps others bolting early, no 2012 prospects to infuse some talent (Tony Parker aint coming here), and a 2012-13 season that features Craft, smith,Thompson,JD and Ravs/Williams. Yikes! PRAY that chain of events doesn't unfold because if it does we could be in for a sheet sandwich of a season.
Sully's dad has a point about roles. I think we have three players who believe they are or should be the center of the offense. Also it looks like at times that several are auditioning for the NBA. Let's face facts we have three guards who either can't shoot or won't shoot. The chemistry problem comes from the fact that the skills of our players do not compliment each other. Contrary to what many may think nothing on the bench is going to make things better. Face it we are a very good team not a great one. Great teams have chemistry. Great teams are consistent. Great teams do not turn the ball over or miss free throws.
