  • I'm canceling my subscription to BNs , what the hell is the matter with you guys. I don't want to hear that a recruit is going to visit another school, you need to tell me what I want to hear, period.

I thought Bellamy and Goebel were key contributers in the bowl game, but I could be wrong.

Bellamy yes. I think he should be starting over Goebel, and after a few games he will be.

"Dreamt of being a Buckeye his entire life". Never understood how someone can say that and then have U of M as the other school if they don't become a Buckeye.

I think this to. If I was a top recruit and _Ichigan called, I would laugh at them and tell them I cant wait to stomp your face in. Maybe thats just me, though. Briontee cant up north, just cant happen.

Yeah, so did Herbie, is Herbie not a Buckeye??!! ...oh wait a minute...that's probably not something I should ask around here... :)

Seriously though, I've heard Herbie tell a story more than once that he only went on a visit to *ichigan, because he wanted to take money and resources away from Schembechler’s recruiting of other players. I guess Bo asked him on his official visit, "Kirk, I know you're leaning toward the Buckeyes, what can I tell you to get you to come here?" Apparently Herbie just smiled and nodded his head.

Maybe this dude has the same attitude. I hated *ichigan enough in high school, that I would have pulled that too.

Yeah, he wants to be a Buckeye so bad that he's taking visits to Michigan. Sure sounds like a Buckeye diehard to me! I missed it when Warren Ball took a visit (or multiple visits) to Michigan.

You guys are a trip. There is no way you can blame any of our recruits right now for taking a look around. If no outrageous sanctions come down he will be a Buckeye, it's not his fault that all this stuff is coming out now. That being said, I hope nothing else comes from the investigation, but you can't balme these kids for checking out their options. But yeah Fu*k Meatchicken, I wish he wasnt lookin at them.

  • I have been around Dunn 4 times in the last year. Dunn has allways been a beast, but he has allways said or done something that seemed ood? Maybe it's just me. He didn't work out before the Massillon combine???? What? He did not finish his game against Massillon last year? I'm not an expert, but where is Dunn's defining moment in high school?

I'm in agreement. .. how a kid can catch in high school but not here?

Are we too focused on speed when recruiting?

If these kids can't catch a ball knowing that a job is there for the taking, how can they perform under pressure in a game?

The mention in the 'House that said: "But it has also affected the recruiting approach going forward. If things don’t improve in-house, we hear there will be a hard push to bring in more receivers. The staff was thinking two in the Class of 2012. Now all bets are off. "

Re-addressing receivers is now going to set us behind in at least one other area I would think.

Kids can catch in high school because the ball is coming about 25mph slower..

When a college QB throws the ball the velocity is way higher thus your hand eye has to increase.

  • Agree todays House was indeed a positive one. Some of the post aren't. Bdig use to enjoy his post but I can't remember the last one he has chewed on Tress in.
I thought Goebel made big strides in the bowl and this spring. we seem to have great DL numbers.
Some people forget Speils told his dad he was going to that school up north.
