So, I may have been a bit wrong on the final score. In fact, I was a whole 2 points off on my low end win spread. However, I said when it was 21-10 that this game is panning out eerily similar to how I predicted. Penn State came out riding emotion, and the punt block TD was a clear indicator of that. However, we made the statement I had assumed we would make. We went into a hostile environment and, for the most part, dominated a team that had nothing but feel good and "moxie" on their side. We are seeing the beginning of a dynasty in Columbus folks, and its clear to everyone. Shazier, who played with a heavy heart and 4.8x his regular number shined and made that play to break the game open. Roby showed why he will be a future EARLY first rounder, Braxton continued to cement himself in the heisman conversation (even though I almost feel like some of us could read a D better than him when it comes to throwing, and his passes had more of a "NASCAR" feel <90mph fastballs> than Penn State's so called offense) with his electrifying plays and XBOX (or PS3 if you're of that type) like plays. As I (yes, I did) predicted, Braxton was the catalyst, thanks to number 11, on the big play that seemingly put the game away. All in all, we made that statement and won the game that we should've won. 12-0 seems like much more of a possibility, and I, for one, believe in this team. Who knows if Fick is here next year. Who knows if we go 12-0. Who knows if we win the AP championship. I will say, though, that we are seeing the making of a special something here in Columbus and I am as excited as I'm sure the rest of you are. We're 9-0 and we're feelin' good.
My "Bold Statement" may have been a one time thing, or I may post this sort of thing weekly (okay, aside from the bye week). All depends on the feedback I get here, and how opinionated I feel that week.
Hindsight, I feel like a winner as much as all of us should, and I love my Buckeyes and all of you (no homo). Here's to being 9-0 with the chance to go 10-0.
You can't handle the truth
