I'm not comfortable calling Bosa the next Simon. They appear to be completely different players physically. Bosa is bigger and longer than Simon. Simon was a tweener. He was a guy who could go inside or play a little outside. Bosa is 6'6" and probably close to 280 right now. Simon is smaller at 6'1" or 2".

Simon's strength was his work ethic. Nobody out worked Simon both on or off the field. He was the classic over achiever. Bosa's ceiling is higher, in my opinion due to his more prototypical size at strong side end and his longer reach which is what you need to disengage from lineman. If by comparing the two you are referring to their work ethic then Bosa is going to be a star if he works half as hard as Simon did.

I sure hope he is the 2nd coming of Simon. John had a damn good career at OSU.

Could'nt agree more. Very happy to have him but my guess is that Adolphus is going to teach him a lesson or two. AW looked tremendous the short amount of time he was in there this year. Bosa will have his days in the sun, but it won't be next year.
