Since he worked out beside Vonn Bell at the camps; was Darron, Von Bell's equal athletically? I haven't had a chance to review any video lately. Thanks in advance

Great update Bill. Thanks.
I like the comparisons to Lewis Neal--same Rivals grade, can grow into same size (though some thought Neal could grow into DE), likely faster than Neal.
And most important: Lee want to be a Buckeye. Neal jumped ship with the first sign of interest from an SEC school.
Give me the desire to be a Buckeye any day. Like speed, can't coach desire into a player. He either has "it" or he doesn't.

Just sit back and let him grow. I personally hope he ends up as a big, strong safety that can run. In a couple of years from now during the last regular season game versus "That school up north" with less than a minute, up by 5 points, 4th & Goal, I want a "home grown" Buckeye roaming the defensive backfield, seeing a run develope, and rushing to fill the hole with "Buckeye Blood" easing from EVERY vein. Darron's passion and love for The Ohio State will prevail and stop the final drive. IF he ends up at safety...it will remind me back in the 60's when Woody and his sophomores DEFEATED The University of Spoiled Children and a running back named O.J...what's his name. I remember when O.J. was interviewed out here on the local TV stations after losing the game but running for a long TD...one sportswriter stated it looked like he was running faster than he ever had before....in which O.J. replied..."I was scared..I knew Jack Tatum was running after me." That's exactly what Darron potentially brings to the defensive backfield....INTIMIDATION !
GO BUCKS !! See YOU ALL November 24..I'll be on the 35 yard line.

An athlete with size and speed who seemed to thrive on the competition that the much better known Bell provided at camp. A diamond in the rough with a huge upside that will be developed by Buckeye coaches.

I was at the first camo he reminds me a lot of Taylor Mays fron usc acouple years ago size speed and a hitter .....anybody second that??

Not as stiff as Taylor and that's good but he would be a great hotter at safety!!! Good get from Ohio I love kids that really want to be Buckeyes....
