  • Guys ... sometimes you just have to shake your head and move on ... always remember, there are military haters out there ... and, Heaven forbid, supporting the Troops got in the way of their cell phone usage ... and to rile them even more ... they probably support the Islamists anyway ... ouch!     God bless you and your comrades in the sandbox! (And that's saying something coming from someone of my beliefs.) And this goes double for you, given the hardship you are dealing with that you revealed to me via PM.

    Anybody hassled/troubled by the pinning of this thread should pucker up extra hard...because I've got a big ass they can kiss. (Hope that doesn't offend anyone, but I won't apologize for shooting straight if it did.)

    Pin or no pin, they're going to have to scroll past this thread if they want to get to the rest of the Front Row if I have anything to say about it. And you guys know I've always got plenty to say about everything. lol

  • Being new to bucknuts and a veteran this is awesome! I am glad to see the Buckeye Nation support our real heroes! -Jar I don't I O's if you had contacted the Yellow Ribbon Support center in Cincinnati but they do some great work and may have some advice for you or resources to help as well. The late SSG Matt Maupins father started it and continues to do it until all of the troops are brought home. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Matt Maupin, I encourage you to google his name. If I am not mistaken he was the first Soldier to be captured in Iraq and he was ultimately killed. They found his remains about two years ago and they were rightfully returned to the Maupin family. However, despite their loss they till continue to be true Americans and they continue to support those still serving!!!! Awesome cause! Anyways, for those of my brothers and sisters who are still deployed God Speed and God Bless.

  • I got a PM from someone suggesting nuts.com. I'll research them as a potential snack direct shipper (my concern is processing/handling/shipping cost versus what we do now).

    Has anyone else bought from them before?

    If so, what did you think of their product and most importantly S/H charges?

  • Slight Revision. The damn post office raised rates 50cent/box again. So actual postage was $161.40 vs the projected $155.40.

    Here is the revised overall financials.

    Edit: The sad thing is that when we started this project 2 years back we paid $10.95/box vs. $13.45/box now. 23% increase in 2yr is a bite in the ass.
