A top Ohio defensive end visited Ohio State today and after talking to Urban Meyer walked away with a scholarship offer from the Buckeyes.

The million dollar question, is this a real offer or a committal offer?
Either way, good for Sprinkle, another Ohio kid blowing up with legit BCS offers.
I think Mark Dantonio is one of the best DL talent evaluators out there, as is Larry Johnson at Penn State and Taver Johnson at Arkansas, three pretty good talent evaluators.
I would throw Charlie Strong in that category at Louisville as well.

I was thinking the same thing. You are from Ohio and just received your most elite offer and you have medium to high interest? I would be like "well we have medium to high interest in you as well so don't wait to long or medium interest goes to no interest". I dont know, sometimes I just get irritated with people who have a way better opinion of themselves than most people around them do.

Yep...good point. For some reason it seems like we've been back-peddling a bit with second-tier offers as of late though. I have full faith and confidence in Urban and I'm sure we'll end up with a great class.
I def need to have more patience when it comes to recruiting...
