Duane, is Booker falling off the radar a little bit. This kid has been all the hype for a while, and you actually like Berger more than him at the moment. Do you think the staff is slowing their recruitment of Booker?

IMO we make it way too complicated, either you can play or you can't or you'll need some work. From the film I saw, this kid can play football. Good speed, good technique, good nose for the ball. At his weight, he can easily add 30 - 50 lbs and you KNOW that will be good weight and he won't lose his speed. He could play LB or DE , he has good use of his hands in getting rid of blockers. He lined up at DE on several plays and was by the DT so quick it was not fair. I didn't see a down side to this kid and after the trouble using the "national" rating systems, ( sabino, grant ) let's just start going on one simple fact, can you play? He can!

His film is just getting out. There was no sophomore film as he wasn't a varsity starter last year. This is often the case with kids from top flight programs who may not even see the field until their junior or senior years becasue there is top notch talent ahead of them.

Didn't get it at first, but I do now. He is relentless and plays with a mean streak. Does a pretty good job of using technique to get around blockers (not just a guy who tries to run the blocker over).
