This, I can tell you from jumping around boards for a while, Farrell listens to his Ohio Rival's guys and uses them as a valuable resource, I am sure he does that with most. That is why is he more spot on than most, and his rankings have a lot of due diligence and game film tied to them, not some knee jerk reaction ranking post a 7 on 7 camps, where some kids had a better advantage than others due to their draft, their coaches and their QB's.
I come to Bucknuts for the best OSU hoops coverage alive, Kurelic and gang, best boards and support groups, but these 247 ranking people leave a lot to be desired to me.
I would rather have less rankings like Rivals and more due diligence, more listening to their state experts, more considering their offer sheets and more attention to detail of their real time game film in pads.
Anyone can looks good in shorts, put on the pads, it seperates the men from the boys.
These latest knee jerk reactions to a 7 on 7 camp where kids were judged based off teams that were drafted and how various talent levels, and some had good QB's to one or two mediocre ones, just not real good IMHO.
I keep reading from Schuburtt this guy is here due to upside, ahh, Marshall has no upside? You got to be kidding, just watch him slam dunking with two hands as a heck of a hoops player, his state track feats and his dominant numbers against D1 Ohio football and tell me this kid does not have upside. That is a literal insult and joke to knowledgeable Ohio State fans.

We joined in mid-March 2011, so it's been about 15-16 months that we have officially been together. 247 got started the previous fall. I think people are just discussing the good and bad of being with the network. There hasn't been a bad outage in a while, which is good.
