This happens so often when a team has a player like Sullinger, bigger and better than any one on the floor. The refs see this and protect the opposition from him.. If you watch other games you see it too. If they went through the game film it would be rediculous how many fouls they should call but they won't, they are protecting the opposition from Sullinger dominating. And, for what it's worth, I got up and left the room with a minute to go when Craft was whacked by 2 guys going in for the lay-up. The official just suck.

As was pointed out:
1. Sit Buford, make him the 6th man (if he can produce, if not Thompson).
2. Williams in the low post, Sullinger a true forward.
3. New lineup: Craft, Smith Jr, Williams, Thomas, Sullinger.
The same old same old we've seen works well against Minnesota, Penn State, etc., but not against the big boys. Let's admit we have no outside shooting game so we might as well beef up the inside.

Jared is definately not ready for the NBA. NBA= no babies allowed. Contact and grabbing like Michigan State and Michigan games shows he isnt ready for the physical battles that are a daily part of the NBA.

The refs were bad no doubt but the bucks r just not an elite team at this point a lot 0f basketball yet to be played, Seems like they lose a game then get pissed and come like gangbusters but it only last for a short time. Awaysabuckeye

Scott is terrible. The fact that Matta passed up on Burke to take Scott has to be one the biggest recruiting boners of all time. To think that Matta also passed on Craft until the Pearl fiasco is also scary.

Burke did play better than Craft last night. We have to admit that. Amir Williams needs to play more. Buford needs to play less minutes if he is not shooting well.

Where was Lenzell Smith Jr on offense> Quit putting all the offense on Bufurd's shoulders! Thomas can't guard my sister-he gives up way to many layups.

I am prepared for quick exit in Big Ten Tournament and the NCAA tournament unless they play as a team.

They're playing as individuals not as a team . Thomas shoots way to often and as soon as he gets the ball. He does not work for the best shot and shoots with no Buckeyes under the basket to get offensive rebounds.
Buford does not drive and pull up and shoot easy jump shot.

Craft does not shoot often enough .

All stand around on offense not working the play or to get open they are to busy primping for the officials.

As Bobby Knight would say " Hell it's not rocket science Stop standing around and Move your Ass and Set up the offensive play and get the Best shot and Be Prepared to Play offensive Rebound and or Defense. Heck Thomas has never seen a shot he doesn't like incluidng from full court."

Look,I love Sully and it's probably too late for him to change but........ he looks like a Teddy Bear out there! His facial expressions are Happy,Sullen and "Really". Sully get up in the morning and spend a half hour learning a "I'm PISSED and gonna kick ASS face",

Last season he had a better surrounding cast of players who could shoot the three. He had an easier opportunity to score than this year. No one has bee a consistent threat from the outside all year. When we are hitting from the outside, it makes it easier for Sully on the inside.

I hate to whine about refs but if they had officiated this game anything close to even, Ohio State would have won, even as poorly as they played. They would have had 10 more free throw tries and Michigan would have had a few less. It was simply ridiculous. Some of the plays OSU just got raped under the basket and no call, and then they come up with all of those horses**t charges. On one of those charges the Michigan players was not only moving, the replay showed his feet were off the ground. Total crap.

Even with the bad refereeing, if Buford had hit his 2 free throws late and just made a couple of baskets, again OSU wins. I just can't figure Buford out. I told someone before the game started that if he can just have and average night and score 10-12, OSU should be OK.

I don't think Burke's performance was all that great, he usually just ran around and then ran into the lane and threw up crap. I loved the play where he was giving his best to Craft and when he finally drove the basket Craft just took the ball away from him.

The future of this team in the Big10 and the NCAA tournament is all going to depend on which team and which William Buford shows up. They obviously have trouble on the road against good opponents. If they play like this game, they are probabaly 2 and done. If they play like they can, they can win it all.

I'm just scratching my head (and cursing the Big10 which won't make referees call games consistently).

I don't think we should panic but we should regroup right now &start useing our bench . We really start alot more guys were starting to look fatiged out there. The defense is playing good our offense needs a shot in the arm !!!! We really could run 9-10 deep we have the talent but we need to quit pointing fingers and acting like babies . Matta can get more guys involved why he is playing only 6-7 guys only he knows . We have the time to turn this around right now but the big ten is playing good this year.. At home these teams are more prepared then normal . Saying that we have to look at our offense and make some changes and work on it now so we are prepared for the big tourniment . We did have a better team last year so what Deebs & Lighty are gone no one said this was going to be easy .. We have a short team but we should not Give Up just so soon .Matta isn't a bad coach just hard head our offense puts to much power into the refs hands !!!Damn Damn Damn Damn !!!
