He even said the famous line, "you want to hit like a man, and I’ll treat you like a man"! What did she expect? Dumb broad!

    I have every problem with what he did and many with what she did too. But the bottom line is, he is an ADULT and he is on the job. Don't engage in the verbal sparring. Stop the bus if you have to and call the cops to have her removed. Be the ADULT. Be the PROFESSIONAL.

  • she deserved punched for calling him the "N word" alone. Why do some woman believe they are beyond retaliation? That guy shouldn't lose his job. IMO but I'm sure he will and the city will probably pay her a couple hundred thousand to go away. lol

  • this is what is wrong with society. The bus driver should have never engaged talking with this women. It only escalated into a bigger issue. The other disturbing thing is that bystanders egged it on. If the woman was causing a problem the driver should of called it in and asked for assistance to have the woman removed. No one wins in these types of situations.

  • LULZ... judging by the downvote, someone obviously feels very strongly in favor of either sucker punches, or hitting women. Dude should have just called the cops and had them meet him at the next stop. Now his family has to figure out how they are going to eat without daddy bringing home a paycheck.

  • Result of desrespect from a teenager, thinking it's alright to verably attack (with ugly cuss words) and then thinking it's alright to punch that person...I don't like to see a woman (in this case a very mouthy and aggresive person that continued to attack till person had protect himself)get hit...however, in this case...good for him!!! A good idea is to just eliminate the bus service!!

  • Its not cool for people to physically assault another person. So it wasn't cool for her to attack him. It definitely was NOT cool for him to punch her. I would not have handled the situation like that.

    However, you reap what you sew. The bus driver will likely get fired, but the girl got a punch to the face as a result of her actions. Karma is a bitch. Yet there is still balance in nature. Hopefully both of them learn from their actions.

    On one hand, she hit him first, while he was driving a bus as I understand it. That's endangering the lives of everyone on that bus. She continued to act aggressive.

    I'm not sure how he could get fired if he acted in self-defense and not sue the city afterwards.

    The girl should get jail time, he should be suspended with pay and have to attend a class or something.

    However it sends the wrong message just as much, if he gets fired and she gets rewarded monetarily.

    Honestly, what message is being sent if she gets paid because of an incident she started? I can just see copy-cat incidents like this one creeping up of people trying to do the same thing to get money.

    The message that needs to be sent is: You do not act the way the young lady did, nor do you hit a bus driver. His actions were over the top, but so were hers.

    So again, what message is being sent if you fire the bus driver and give this girl who was clearly WAY out of hand, monetary compensation?

  • This would be funny if not so sad. If one wonders why our society has declined it is due to moral decay, lack of intelligence, no sense of respect and a growing culture of entitlement. This video is evidence of our impending demise. For those of us who pay taxes and worked to make this country the envy of the world, this video shows where our $$ and future are headed. no Sad.

    It wasn't self-defense. The girl is a complete (fill-in-your-favorite-word, I'd probably go with one starting in C or T) but he didn't need to clock her like that. As others have mentioned, he should have contacted the police and had her arrested. Course, that's easier said than done after you've been hit in the face -- even by a 95-pound girl -- but he'll get fired for this for sure. It's not like he was fearing for his life after the girl slapped him or punched him or whatever (can't tell from the vid). He was just embarrassed and wanted to put her in her place. They'll probably both sue each other in civil court. Isn't it all beautiful!?
