This is honestly a huge win for Sully. It's like being drafted by New England or Pittsburgh in the NFL. Tradition of winning and winning a lot. Go get em big guy!

Agreed completely. And he will be next to a defensive minded 5 in Melo. Hopefully Celtics bring back Garnett for another 2 years and he can rotate with both of them and mentor them, allowing them to ease into the pro game.
Celtics are going to be VERY happy with their 2012 draft in 5 years, maybe even sooner.

Yeah the funny thing about this is that thousands of Celtics fans will be able to buy the Sullinger jersey and that will also be their real last name.

To show up at the pre draft workouts THAT out of shape with soooo much on the line indicates one of two things about Will; he is either brain dead or more realsitically, he just isn't that into playing hoops for a living. I don't think he makes an NBA roster but I do see him in Turkey, Germany or Japan.

Congrats to Sully. Great day for Boston. Melo and Sully at the end of the 1st round... You can ask for much better than that. Really praying he can stay healthy.

No matter what the results are with Sully, you have to realize how great of a human being he is and he is already a success at that. I was not a Celtic fan but I will also be hoping for the best when it involves Sully! Go get em! I think he will be a good pro and make some all star teams eventually.

I'm not a New Yorker, but I am a Knicks fan. I will also be rooting for Sully in Boston and ET in Philly. It's a challenge but I hope they do very well.
By the way, another one to add to the list of pros from the matta era...Othella Hunter was undrafted but played two years with Atlanta. Hopefully some of the other undrafted buckeyes can get a shot. (Buford, Lighty)
