Lol one of the most ridiculous statements I have read in here and that's saying something. Thanks for the comedy.

Yep, Im the ONLY person who thinks the NBAis fishy. I thought it was fishy when Cleveland got #1 last year. I think it was fishy that for some unknown reason Michael Jordan wasnt at the NBA lottery on a day when his team (Bobcats) had a the best chance to land the #1 overall pick. Instead Charlotte sends some guy nobody has ever even heard of to the stage. SOMEHOW, the Hornets new owner and his entourage made it and they had very little chance. Hmmm. Meanwhile, people hatch up anti OSU conspiracies every other thread, Great post Diegobuck.

How do you choke when you lose to a better team? That's like falling up a flight of stairs.

You really think OKC played as well in the Finals as they did in the Western Conference Finals? Werent the Thunder favored in a few of the games? Didnt many of the experts pick OKC? If thats the case then nobody EVER chokes. If the better team always wins then nobodyEVER chokes. And of course we know that by winning youve proven that youre the better team 100% of the time.

The better team does not always win and winning does not always mean the team is better (villanova, ny jets, 80 Olympic hockey team, among countless other shockers). In this case, to call okc chokers means they were clearly the better team and let it slip away. They had no answer for the king and lost because the heat were a superior team. Many picked okc because they had home court in the series and because it was the fashionable pick. People love to pick against the big bad villain to look smart if it happens. People also expected lbj to "choke". We all know he would have been called a choker if he lost. How can he be a choker for losing AND okc be chokers when they lose?
Yes okc played worse in the final...because the competition was much better. They had to contend with a much better team.

Congratulations on winning my annual "Biggest Jackass Award". You just beat out your pal Lebron. You can go lick Lebrons boots if you want to but I for one think hes a vile human being. His mothers a criminal, hes an arrogant clown and hed spit on you sure as hed look at you. Go dance around chanting "butthurt" with you bandwagon Heat pals. You are the typical clown who couldnt name 4 players on the Heat this year but yet morph into Superfan in an attempt to be cool or funny. As for getting a life, Im not the one quoting lebron james in posts and deliberately agitating on a message board.

I'd like to accept this award on behalf of all Bucknut posters who can handle when an athlete leaves a team to win a championship. I would also like to thank 95buckeye for being as entertaining as he is. It's really hard to imagine having all those character traits in one body, you know, childish, paranoid, Napoleonic(you'll probably have to look that one up on wiki) & petty. If I guessed his age based on his posts, I would say 14, but I'm afraid he is of legal age & that is a scary thought...

Your post falsely assumes people dislike LeBron for just leaving. Can't they dislike him for leaving in the manner he did?

For example, one who puts in his/her two weeks notice to say he/she found a job in Florida is a little different than one who walks into your office, tells you what a shitty job you did as a boss, says that he is leaving today and to enjoy the sinking ship.

Cleveland fans have seen good players come and go before. Thome, CC, Lee, Manny, etc. etc. Yet they are not as disliked as LeBron. There is one huge difference in how they left as compared to LeBron. What do you think it is?

People hate Lebron for one reason one reason only. They may not admit it, but its true. He was seen as the only chance that Cleveland would ever get a championship in any major sport. The way he did his announcement was no different than a high school kid giving his commitment on national tv. The difference does come in the fact that he was already an international superstar. There for the bigger amount of coverage and such. I just hope Kyrie Irving doesn't get the same treatment when he signs with another team.

So the many different people that dislike LeBron (there are many that are not Cleveland fans FYI) all dislike him because he was the only chance the Cleveland would ever get a championship in any major sport? Like I said previously, is the NFL, MLB, or NBA going anywhere in the next 400 years? Is Cleveland never going to win in any sport ever? You honestly think Cleveland fans believed that this was our one and only opporutnity to ever win a championship?

As for the way he did his announcement, I can see your analogy. Hometown kids say they are going out of state all the time to the disappointment of many (i.e. Jordan Hicks). But the LeBron thing was an hour long special entitled "The Decision." You don't see that as rubbing it in? If it was completely fine to do this, why has no other free agent done it in the history of sports? You saw how poorly it was received nationwide.

More on this point, these kids haven't developed a relationship with fans of any of the colleges they will be attending so there can't be any reasonable backlash for choosing a school.

As for Kyrie, he will not receive the same treatment as long as he leaves like any other free agent not named LeBron has left. This is not the first time a good player has left Cleveland for perceived greener pastures and, believe it or not, most can leave without receiving any backlash whatsoever.

He has admitted it was a mistake. What more do you want. Do really think that Cleveland will win anything. I see them losing teams before they win one. Hell look at the ravens. It didn't take long for that franchise to win after leaving town.
