I think he will eventually get in. I don't think he is getting snubbed but perhaps forced to wait. When you look at the list of players to be inducted, it is extremely impressive.

They are just going to wait until it is his last chance to get in. He is an arrogant SOB and I'm sure pissed off a lot of people. TO will see the same thing when he is eleigible for the HOF as well.

You can make the point that Andre Reed isn't in either and we was pretty darn good. The problem is that Cris has been a finalist for a number of years in a row, and they only let in about 4 guys per year. Every year there are 1st ballot guys that get publicity and momentum. I think Cris has been blackballed, and I think he has the stats to get in. Definitely a top 5 receiver in the game. If the ball came near him he snagged it with those exceptionally large mitts of his.
Cris may need to pull a Harry Carson and tell them to frick off, he doesn't want in. That seemed to work for Harry, ha ha.

Agree on CC... And I'm sure there are no arrogant SOBs in any of the Halls of Fame... Football, basketball, hockey, and especially baseball. It's laughable.
However, TO makes it on first try.... IMHO... I don't know why, but just have this feeling....

I don't think the snub has anything to do with Ohio State. I imagine it is how he treated the media and other personal (ie: substance use) issues. However, I think overcoming the substance abuse and growing into the 2nd best (or at worst close to that) WR ever is a good thing.
I did love how Stu Scott on Sportscenter said that Jerry Rice is the best receiver ever, but number 2 is right here and that is CC Chris Carter.
