  • You made excellent points...very factual. Indeed, who the hell is this Fowler. Sad to say he just opens up his mouth with little facts like most ESPN analysts. They say what they hear from other analyts too. No independent opinion. Let's do PRO-CLAIM we are the undefeated and worth it like every other national title contenders

  • Bax..I must admit I was not convinced OSU deserved a top 5 ranking..but after further review my opinon changed

    Oregon lost at home
    K-State lost to a sad and sorrowful Baylor team
    Bama struggled vs LSU and Texas A&M
    Georgia considered a NC contender was smoked by South Carolina
    Notre Dame struggled vs Purdue and Pitt and Boston College

    Ohio State struggled at times too and was considered by many as a imperfect team..But after further review The Ohio State Buckeyes are indeed a perfect team

BUT, I am fed up with the national pundits (idiots), who treat OSU like a sister-of-the-poor program. If they aren't us, they hate us. Success sometimes breeds contempt.

    Spot on! Post more often you are good! It is a travesty that oversigning doesn't get discussed more often. Why doesn't E!SpIN discuss it more? For the same reason they didn't like to bring up Jeffries assaulting a marine at LSU, they don't want to say anything that might hurt their image.

    As I suggested in my earlier post, Woody looked comfortable in short sleeves even if it was freezing. Hoke on the other hand, looked uncomfortable, trying to fold his arms without making it obvious he was cold, even went inside during 4th Q for some reason. I think that's what makes it laughable - he was trying to emulate Woody, and couldn't pull it off. Probably a common occurrence for him. ;-)

  • With the onset of the playoff I could care less what any poll voter says especially if it is expanded. We will be in the playoffs most years and maybe every year if it is expanded to more teams in the future.

    next year we will get the chance, having a schedule rated 51st and the Big Ten the worse in my lifetime, let it alone.
    Interesting information regarding Boren at MLB and giving up 300 yds per game. I guess Fickell can coach defense and linebackers, just need to upgrade personel.

  • Understand that ESPN/Disney is an entertainment business and the ultimate nightmare is for Ohio State to be the only undefeated team and the NC is viewed as unsettled because the best team is not playing. Fowler is a company man with no integrity not an OSU hater. The best we can do as a state and fans is to turn off ESPN for the balance of the football season and build up the big ten network that is a direct competitor to ESPN.
    One more thought, if OSU is the only undefeated team why not but up on the ring at the Shoe next to the NC years. "2012 Undefeated". At the end of the day it only matters what we think about our team not the press.

  • Yeah, and I suppose ESP-ND and Fowler thought Notre Dame looked like a championship team when Pitt, a team beaten by I-AA Youngstown State and currently with a losing record, lined up for a chip-shot field goal to win it in OT at South Bend! Somehow that image has been deleted and his statements couldn't be "Foul-er"

  • I Love the article but just go out and kick ass over the next several years and win out right National Championships and shut them up. I think this team can hang with anyone but will not get the chance to prove that so load up for the years to come and just flat out beat the crap out of who ever is in our way. More then ever I am looking forward to the coming season. This year was just the beginning of great Buckeye Football teams. Go Buckeyes
