The only thing I don't like about the situation is OSU is first by date on his official visits and not last. And also Meyer has an in-home with him on the 14th. Immediately following Meyers appointment, It will be Saban walking in right after him on the same day, and that guy can sell some snake oil. So Tenn gets a shot and Saban gets 2 right after OSU's OV on the 11th and Meyers in-home on the 14th.

"For whom the Bell Tolls" It could be Bama, it might be "Sad but True" lets just hope it doesn't "Fade to Black" for OSU fans and Bells recruitment. But Meyer gets the best recruits every year "Wherever he may roam"

I still think that Bell goes to Bama.... If he REALLY is looking at depth charts then he couldn't overlook us at OSU. My gut feeling is that he may be looking to see if Satan leaves for the NFL, which I seriously don't think he will do. If Satan leaves then I would think that leaves us as the front runner. Just my $0.02

^^^ Agreed. They talked about this exact thing lastnight on one of the telecasts. Saban has unfinished business in the NFL. They problem is he recruits great... but can he coach people that actually make more than he does, and deal with the level of talent that is currently on the team. He's not going to be able to go out and get the best of the best players in the NFL like he has the ability to do at Bama. Time will tell.....

Urban will be the Hero of the Day.

Being first can be a good thing. It can allow you to insulate the recruit to the "snake oil" that someone is selling. You can pre-teach the recruit to listen for certain key phrases and put a negative connotation on it so when Saban uses his "usual sales pitch" the kid hears "liar" due to being pre-taught what to expect.
