I sound like a broken record with the LeBron posts. I hated "The Decision" and that whole fiasco. He gave us what 7 years, and Dan Gilbert PLENTY of opportunity to build around him, led us to an NBA finals appearance, dominated as he should have but Gilbert didn't get the job done. LeBron, like many greats cant do it alone, Jordan never won without a Pippen, Shaq without a D-wade or Kobe, Kobe even needed a supporting cast in Shaq, or Gasol, Bynum etc.. Duncan Has Manu and Parker, who did LeBron ever truly have?
He left to pursue an NBA title. He has never disgraced himself (outside of "The Decision") in which he did give $ to the Boys and Girls club of Cleveland. He is actually WITH his baby's mama, He has NO DUI's, GUN CHARGES, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, PED'S, DRUG PROBLEMS GAMBLING, ETC.
He appears to be an unselfish class act. I wasn't as pissed at him when he left, but man did it HURT watching him, Bosh and Wade do that whole runway appearance wearing uniforms and the South Beach festivities once he signed. The monikers that bothered me were "Leaveland" and "LeGone" that is the humble pie that pissed me off.
There is NO doubt in my mind, he is coming home in 2014. Blame Gilbert and the GM for not making the moves needed, not LeBron! HE WILL BE BACK!

Honestly if the Cavs can get any other big name player other then LeBron, I would be estatic.
Parts of me still want the Cavs to rub it in LeBron face some how. I just can't forgive him fully, but I am over the debacle. He's a great guy, but did a shitty thing that I just can't forgive him.
But now if he did sign with that Cavs then I will be force to root for him. I am a die heart Cav fan no matter what.

good post, but I really doubt he'll come back. I can't see him wanting to deal with Gilbert again.
Gilbert publicly apologized and admitted he wished he would've done things differently and that emotion over took him. LeBron accepted his apology (publicly at least) so it's a step in the right direction..
I'm from Ohio and I'm not even a Cavs fan (I'm an Orlando Magic fan, which is just as bad) but I can't stand Lebron for what he did to them. When he announced he'd be doing The Decision, I told friends that guaranteed he'd stay in Cleveland, because there's no way someone would have a television special to announce he's leaving the most loyal fans in sports. I didn't think anyone was that much of a jerk. I was wrong.
I also disliked him for leaving his team rather than being the competitor that wills his team to a victory. Aging players who never won a championship are the guys who join great teams to try to get one. Lebron is the guy old players join so he can win them a ring - not the other way around.
Never hated him. He took less money in order to win, he has the most unselfish game of any superstar in history. He also loves the Buckeyes. The way he left Cleveland was hard and poor judgement but there is so much to like about Lebron. I have never understood the level of vitriol thrown his way. Blame Cavs management for not putting a better product on the floor. I'm still a fan of LBJ.
Been over it. He's just another player on another team. I put him in the Kobe category. He's one of the best players on the planet and I respect that but he doesn't play for the Cavs so he can eat it!
Do not want him back either. I prefer to move forward than go backwards. Lebron will be 30 when he hits free agency next time anyway. Thats not old but its not exactly young anymore.
Frankly, I could care less. Have a great deal of difficulty watching NBA players where many if 6" shorter could be flipping burgers. Just do not like the brand of ball and taking kids early from college has diluted the quality in pros and college. James is a great player but handled his leaving poorly. Of course, the Indians have lost two Cy Young winners and 3 HOF players for the $$ thus player loyalty is non-existent. The Browns took their talents to Baltimore. My fear is the greed will destroy college athletics.
When did this happen?
Fill me in. Why wouldn't LeBron hitch his wagon to Wade and Bosch? He has already won a NBA Title and MVP awards with them.
