Wade is falling apart and Bosh looks too much like a pterodactyl.
I like to go with Velociraptor...
Exactly! How people hated him for leaving was beyond me. So he is spose to spend his whole career in Cleveland cuz he is from Ohio? Give me a break. Ownership wouldn't pay to put the right pieces around him to win a championship so how can you blame him for leaving to get one??? Now he can come back with Top 5 picks all around him and bring championships to Cleveland. This was the only way Cleveland was ever going to bring one home.
So is bids the new Cavs guy around her now.
Sarah sorry about the Herpes.
I will never be over how he left. It pains me to watch him play now. He cries over every little touch foul. I never saw Jordan do that and it's probably best he took off that number 23 jersey. He's no Jordan. One last thing, Go Spurs!!!!
LBJ is arguably the most valuable a$$et in the history of the NBA. Only if you adjust for inflation or pit him against Jordan may there be an equal. Consequently, or in conjunction, he is ridiculously valuable to vendors as well as Disney.
So, is anyone surprised that the combined wallets and marketing expertise of these combined entities have changed the minds of many previous haters - drip by drip, day by day? Fuck no.
As for me, time and marketing efforts have zero impact on my mind for the crime he committed. The only way I will ever again watch this fuck play another game for any team is if I dvr'd the game that eliminated his team from the playoffs or if he simply confessed one enormous sin.
As sure as OJ knocked of Nicole, lbj tanked (not "quit") his final playoffs series as a Cav. (How he announced his decision to leave Cleveland bothers not at all). Any media source that has access to this 6 game series - bring it to me and I will show you things that will demonstrate beyond a reasonable doubt that this "man" was padding his alibi in this final series rather than playing to advance.
There's still a very healthy size (lucrative) audience of millions that I know that I can captivate by simply pointing out several anecdotal happening and stats.
But guess what? The nba isn't going to sell or approve the rights to any such rebroadcast of their asset (these 6 games), no way, no how, because they know what's up just like Reggie Miiler did when he let slip at halftime of a TNT game in feb of lbj's final year in Cleveland that, "mark my words, lbj will be playing for Miami next year". No one else on the set challenged him but instead went about their talk about his chances of signing with Cleveland or NY.
Lbj has only one thing "on" or over the Chicago Black Sox. He got away with it. Why? Because the stakes are exponentially higher, and the product and the mediums are one in the same and because it would do absolutely no net good - to put it very, very modestly - for the bottom line of any entity (dis) with the actual power to uncover and report any part of this truth.
You think I'm nuts? Of course. You didn't watch the series so closely, or he's your hero, or you're a Heat fan, and you've never heard it from TNT or espn, so then it must be conspiracy bs from a disgruntled Cavs fan.
On the other hand, if you're a media source with a few hours to chat with me over a nice freelunch or dinner , or have any connections with any media source willing to put its nuts on the Disney and espn chopping blocks, and you have access to video of this series (aside from one comment in game 5, the audio is worthless) and permission to rebroadcast big chunks of it (and preferably a high powered nba database of statistical info), I will help you produce an argument that would attract millions and make million$ - that would demonstrate beyond any freakin' reasonable doubt that lbj knew the cavs would lose in round 2 before it ever even started.
Hey dave f, do you want to go get a beer sometime? I'd love to talk to you about Lebron's "elbow injury".
Oh yea, the elbow injury that was so bad that when he shot his first 2 3-pointers in the final game 6 (off the dribble, easy to get off any time he wanted), he canned them both. That elbow ?
These 6 points cut the lead from 13 to 7 and led to a Boston timeout with 5 minutes remaining in his career with Cleveland. Lbj didn't attempt another 3 for the rest of the game.
Btw, he wasn't jacked up at this point. He didn't even look at his teammates as they went to the bench before the commercial timeout. He looked like he wanted to take a nab or cry.
Nice try though.
... You want to talk about the 9 turnovers he had in his "triple double" performance on a bad elbow too ? One turnover off a quad double. Has he had even more than 5 in a game since ? Tip of the iceberg... You drink beer or kool aid?
