I was just going by what people are saying on here, that they are in contact on twitter regularly, that they became friends on their recruiting visit. I'm certainly not saying that we need to get Anzalone back to keep Bosa, I'm just saying it probably couldn't hurt.
And I shall rejoice in victory for another 365 days over That School Up North.
Good, so then you realize the risk of not accepting Anzalone back isn't paramount to keeping Bosa. If Bosa wants to leave, it has nothing to do with Anzalone.
If Bosa and Anzalone are a package deal, and you are trly going by whats been discussed, then he was never a firm commitment anyway.
I don't believe that. Therefore I'm not worried. Thus, I am not going to sell my sould and try to accept Anzalone back for the sake of assuming Bosa might stay as a result.

Ok so here it is, its my RANT time...I wasn't going to comment on this until the articles from anzalone's father came out. First off I want to say there is no sour grapes that this kid isnt going to be a Buckeye. And he WILL NOT be after all of this, there is no way Urban takes him back after publicly dissing us.
I completely agree with protecting your child and keeping him out of harms way. BUT this situation could have happend at any university. I'm a police Officer in Utah and I will say this, I dont care what state you live in. Pull up the registered sex offender website and I guarentee you there will be at least 10 people living within a 10 mile or less radius of your home. So that means when your child goes to school, his or her after school job, and to the grocery store he or she has probably run into a registered sex offender somewhere along the way. Its just the TRUTH...
That being said if the University had purposely placed my child in harms way, yes I would be pissed....But in this situation when Alex came home and said something was weird on his trip and we had been discussing this fact for a week already prior to the information on this guy coming to light, I would have done what any rational adult would have done and contacted the school and began to ask questions. I would UNDERSTAND that this cant be monitored when over 80,000 people attend a football game or walk around the campus. Even after the information was sent out I would UNDERSTAND that the school did what was responsible and asked for its athletes to avoid this guy. I WOULD NOT have went to little home town newspaper and bashed a school or coaching staff because they were not surrounding my son like the AVENGERS while he walks around campus.
I feel sorry for Alex because he will now miss out on something special at THE Ohio State University because daddy wanted to throw the hammer down instead of act like an adult and inquire as to what transpired on the visit. Sure he will still get a good education somewhere else but he WANTED to go to our school and was forced to make us look bad by a over protective father. Its a shame...Good luck to you alex I hope that your college career is a good one.

Not sure how you took me saying, 3 times, that this could possibly, maybe have an effect on Bosa as saying it was a package deal
I just got done explaining how it could/should not... So I took your posts accurately. I'm telling you, its not an issue. If we lose Bosa, its not because we didn't let Anzalone re-commit. Which is what you were suggesting with your "possibly have an affect" comment.
I agree wholeheartedly. The father's actions were out of hand. Not only do his statements put tOSU in a bad light but put his son in not the best light either. I can understand the dad's being upset, but you have to exercize better judgement when making public statements. He is supposed to be the adult. I'm sure he will say he was misquoted.

Good to know this now. Much like Foster. Gives us a chance to weed out the problems before they arrive on campus. Mr. Anzalone is clearly a problem. He can take his problems elsewhere. Same thing with Bob Foster. Who cares what they are rated? If they get here and are total flakes, they are negative influences.
Duron Carter would've been a great player, too, but he wasn't worth the effort anywhere he landed.
OSU will get a great recruit to replace Anzalone. They will get a great recruit instead of Foster. Addition by subtraction on both of those prospects.
Did Dad even visit?

sounds like a completely knee jerk over reaction.
"The only thing That Team Up North will be tasting this year is the salty tears of defeat" - UFM
That's what I'm wondering.
If his Spring Game visit was good enough for him to commit, why would he just now come out with these concerns? Seems to me that with what his dad claimed to be the reason "something just not right at tOSU" his more recent comments seem to contradict what he said earlier. Either way, suffice to say that NO true OSU fan considers this piece of garbage from KY to be among those that are part of #Buckeye Nation.
