Our quarterback does front flips, suck it.
As opposed to Meyer moving to the B10? People refuse to believe it but the media is very antiB10
andy staples ...if anyone gives a shit.
$$$ paying more ...giving more ...better facilities.
BIG10 Presidents and AD's should understand its not that hard to figure out - you can't count on anyone loyalty anymore -
Just need to invest in the program and that includes
salaries and facilities
B10 is unable to even get close to the commitment the SEC has to be the Best. OSU and the team up north R only schools that R doing what it takes ( PSU will again one day ) ....MSU and IOWA r close .....
rest of conference ...way behind.
Those Who Stay Will Be Championshipless
Ouch. This is not an anti-B10 headline it's the truth! Wisconsin is the 3rd or 4th best job in the B10, Arkansas is the 6th to 8th best job in the SEC.
The poster above said it best....where was this headline when Meyer left the SEC for the Big Ten?
Wisconsin is between the 5th-7th best job in the b10. Osu,mich, psu, neb all significantly better. Iowa pays way more and its easier to get players at mich st.
This is more about using your resources to gain a competitive advantage and the BIG despite their tidy some of money from the BTN aren't using that money to attract the top coaches (not that Bielema should be considered top tier) but as long as they are willing to accept mediocrity across the league, then nothing will change. Anyone really think that Hoke's even top tier? Urban is going to dominate this league for years to come.
No. Hoke is not an elite coach. The good thing is that it will take Michigan about 4 more years to figure that out.
I did like Purdue's hire. I think that was the right call for the first time in a while. But you are absolutely right, this league is accepting mediocrity right now and won't pony up the cash to get someone that can make a difference. Bobby Petrino, a dickhead might I add, would be an excellent replacement for Bielema, another dickhead. Give him a call and let the rest of the league know you are serious about winning too.....
Or you can hire a coach from Conference USA with a 5-18 head coach record. What do I care...OSU is good...
Pretty good point. But not sure that Arkansas is more than about the 7 th best in the sec. UGA, Alabama, UF, LSU, Texas a&m, and probably UT and Auburn.
If Wiscy's has any manhood about them they will get Petrino, he is a scumbag but he is a winner and man would I enjoy beating him!
He is getting out of Wisky because the talent is gone, he lost 5 games this year in a real bad conference so everyone says. That's the best Arkansas can do, they will be looking for a new coach in a few years.
