Tebow was a great college football player. What he did (or didn't) in the pros has nothing to do with what he did in college. He was a great leader, great teammate, had a great work ethic, and was very inspiring to his team. He would be a great addition to our coaching staff.

Anybody have knowledge on the Grad Assistant program? I have a few questions.
How many GA spots are allowed at a given time?
Is there a certain amount of time they are allowed to stay?
Is there a turnover "season"?
I know Kirk Barton and Wes Satterfield are two current or recent GA's. Barton earned his MBA, does this mean he has to move on?
Love him or hate him, the person who's opinion matters most in all of this just so happens to be Tebows biggest fan. Just for kicks ask yourself this; How much of what Urban Meyer's mystique is now is because of what Tim Tebow was?
I never said he wasn't a great college player, just don't like him.
I also am not a huge fan of throwing guys that never coached before into the role straight out of playing. Vrabel was an anomaly to me that I still wouldn't have supported had it been any other situation.
Coaching is so different, it takes years to develop your methods. Can it work? Of course. I just don't feel like we need to reach for coaches with the way Urban builds staffs.
As a GA though I would be fine with a guy with his experience.
Most college assistants coach several positions throughout their first few years. Tebow would be no different. I would take Tebow as an LB, RB or TE assistant coach. It's about teaching and motivating, not being locked into a certain position or stereotype.
More sauce for the ribs! I would love it.

Maybe he could sit along side Gordy and slap him when his mouth opens and closes.
