Phenominal job by Meyer and Co on recruiting.
The thought that I keep having is his ability to procure high end talent even when the initial targets at a given position opted elswhere.
Specifically the LB's and WR types.
With regards to '14, we should have an OL class for the ages. Our main competitors in the MW (ND and Mich) don't have the need that we have - and we are a flat out better program.
My question - who is going to handle our 7 punts next year?
Frank E or a walkon?
I think we will need to factor in a punter and kicker into our class projections (unless we are confident in whoever punts this year).
I think the '14 class will be around 20.
In '15 it will be nice to fet the 3 scholarships back.
Agree, and the punter need is contingent upon how the walk-on/Frank E do next year.
Need 4 offensive lineman, think we end up with 2 here after this weekend with Trout joining.
Go big nationally to get 2 more, maybe 3.
Even Zach Smith?
I can't see Frank E. getting on the field at WR or safety, too much talent in front of him. So if I were him I'd be practicing my punting skills all off season.
