Also, it is important to remember our draft position. At 22, we can afford to take one of those "fringe" first round type players. Ball or a Safety would contribute immediately and that is what you need in the 22 spot. When you are drafting in the top 10 you are so far away from being good (usually) that not one player is going to impact your position the following year. I would say that we can reach for a Lacy or a Ball at 22 or even trade down to high 20's and take one of these guys as our 2nd round pick is early as well. We can have a HUGE impact on 13-14 season if we get the right guys here.
I think this is what they will do with the Lb's. Offensively, fix the damn running game, running backs and OL, free agency and or the draft, then run the ball. Work on the play action passing game because that is kind of QB you have. Roll him out, bootleg him more and don't ever throw the football on first down or in short yardage situations without a strong play action fake, unless it's late in the half or game and everyone knows you have to pass. As far as the first rounder goes, best available. Someone always slides in the first round you never expected.
If they take a back early I want Bernard or Randle.
If they take one later I want Barner.
A draft I could really get behind:
2b. Chase Thomas
3. Margus Hunt

Hail Hail to MeatChicken the Cesspool of the World!
I love this draft.....more than happy with it.
Again, all this will be null once we find out what happens in FA. Seems like every year our needs shift drastically after that...
This....would be a home run.
I agree - would be VERY happy on this one as well..
I like Bernard. 4 positions the Bengals need to address early, RB, LB, S and DE. They need to re-sign Johnson, Smith, Sims and Huber.
