True dat... But I go with a group of guys every year for March Madness and we stay and bet at Mandalay. Always have a good time.

The Strip shuts down (for cars) at 7pm. It's cool to spend 1 New Year on the strip. I'm born and raised in Vegas and have spent exactly 1 new year on the strip. If you absolutely have to say you were on the strip for New Years then do it. But it would be a lot less hassle to stay at the Red Rock which is a very classy spot off the strip that is going to be fun, packed and have a great view of all the hotel fireworks. If you just want to watch football while ur girl gambles I would hit Aria, they have a 5-star sportsbook. The Bellagio is high class, the Mirage actually has a great sportsbook as well. But I would go to City Center (Aria) just to see the tail from all the clubs goin home at 7am lol.
