That ha da to the face against NW was a joke!
You're going to call Martinez for grounding but not Murray?
B1G looks respectable...not including Purdon'thaveanideawhattheyaredoing.
I could have lived with two no calls there but to not call Murray but call Martinez when his back was tied up on a screen was horrible...Murray had no one even in a pattern on that side of the field and was not out of the tackle box.
Very good half from Nebraska. I honestly thought for a minute they would get run off the field but they're hanging in there.
Ditto for Michigan.
NW just went up by 14..
"according to a source familiar with the goings on behind the doors of the WHAC,there is absolutely no panic.Actually, quite the contrary."
How good would the 12-0 Buckeyes look if Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Michigan all pulled off wins today?
Yes and as they go up by 14 the announcers comment how big fast and physical the Miss st defense is
Northwestern looking solid ... just never know as they gave up big leads all year.
To think Mississippi St was ranked int he top 10. When they played Bama it was being promoted as some marque game. lol.
Northwestern wins and goes 10-3, they should open the pre season ranked. They lose 2 starters off each side of the ball, that is it.
Nebraksa is trying to transition a Big 12 spread D to more Big Ten style. They got decimated by DT's injuries late to Steinkuhler, Randle and even the DT from Ohio and had to move DE's inside, that got exposed by Wisconsin. A lot of those DT's are healthy today, Nebraska redshirted stud frosh DT's Vincent Valentine and McMullen, plus to SSDE that weight in the 264 range that will slide inside with time and the weight room.
They land two JUCO DT's like they want for this class, they are going to be different defense next year.
Their offense is loaded with play makers, Martinez just has to cut his mistakes down.
I hope both Nebraska and Northwestern win over SEC teams, OSU faces NW in the regular season, and probably Nebraska or MSU, who returns a ton off a bowl win over TCU in the Big 10 title game.
Nebraska is giving Georgia every bit the game Alabama did for one half.

Nebraska has talent. They are just inconsistent. I believe Pelini can coach, but he is a bad fit there. Not sure if they have the depth to continue this in the 2nd half.
I still think NW was one of the better B1G teams that underachieved. Get another HC in there and they will compete for the B1G championship every few years. I thought Miss St was better until I actually watched them in the middle of year. Smoke and mirrors. That team has a lot of holes.
SCum is hanging in there. Hopefully South Carolina puts it on them. A little surprised the game is as close.
Not surprised Purdue was destroyed. I'm far from a B1G homer. In fact, I can't stand most B1G teams for their incompetence. However, Purdue is not this bad. They are checked out. Fired coach and some of these Purdue guys are NFL dreaming. Without distractions I still think Ok St win by 14 or 17, but they are not this bad.
Cleveland Orchestra Baby!! World's greatest!! The Brown's wet dream is to be them. The Ohio State University-Where the Illibuck Lives!
It also makes Ohio State look far more impressive than initially thought. Remember, Ohio State beat MSU and pummeled Nebraska back to back. They also beat Penn State, Wisconsin, and Michigan back to back to back.
Looks like the B1G isn't quite the pushover as everyone thought.
Why is NW passing the ball?
You think NW needs a better coach?
Agreed with your other points but I highly disagree here. Northwestern is about to get its first bowl win in 50 years.
Edit: 60 years!

to the Miss. state player:
wow, must be embarrassing to get beat by a bunch of slow guys from the big ten. lol
Yes. Pat Fitzgerald has gained this mythical status while people don't realize NW once competed for B1G conferences titles when the conference was more talented.
People will say NW can't compete. Why not? Evanston is a nice college town right next to Chicago. Some will tell you they can't compete due to academics meanwhile Stanford begs to differ. Plenty of prospects our there. A lot of top guys are drawn to strong academic schools.
Pay top coaches/assistants and you'll be surprised what schools can do.
Big 1 SEC 0 NW wins! Big Red up just went up 8
"Ohhhh, man I wish I could go back in time. I'd take state."
Been arguing that in the SC vs SCUM thread. Perhaps I should hang out here instead? Lol
This too shall pass...
Aaron Murray has made some crazy throws today.
hate to admit it but Bolden is going to be a player for scum...
