Yes we could have. If this had been the same a**hole refs in the 2010 Game, who flagged OSU twice for unsportsmanlike penalties just for showing gloves with an "O" after scoring a touchdown. One year later, Denard Robinson and his teammates "face shoveling", did they flag it? F NO! (I know it probably wasn't the same team of refs working both games, but God I hate refs and the inconsistencies between them).
Didn't Holmes get flagged for diving into the end-zone against scum one year too?
Yep, in 2005.

Didn't mean to cause a firestorm.
But the point is that the ref could of called a penalty and we would of had to punt with 30 seconds left.
Enough time to be on the business end of a "Holy Wolverine".
Listen, I pay attention to the details.
For us to take the next step we need to play smarter, cut down on stupid penalties, become more fundamentally sound.
I bet UM3 agrees.
For gods sake you can be excited and not punt the ball with 35 seconds left.
Christian Bryant (Who I like as a player) is a walking unsportsman like conduct penatly.
He can still have "swagga" and not cost us dearly.
Do you get me point?
As usual I'm trying to make a bigger point and it flys over your heads.
Diddy...I think it was more of the example you chose. No Ref in their right mind would ever flag a kid for that at the end of the game. There are probably 5 or 6 better teaching points in the game. Calling out Braxton for something that has already been discussed just won't go over well.

Sound post CR2011.
I will agree to drop it.
I'm just more of a fan of handing the ball to the ref, and not getting in opponents "grillzzzzz".
You are correct I have never seen it called.
I do recall a highlight onnce (it may of been a hs or low lever cfb game).
QB takes the snap, chucks the ball before taking a knee, opposing team scoops and scores. game over.
I think the larger point is we need to become more disciplined.
We gave up more big plays (40+ yd) plays than we did in 10 years under tressel.
We were heavily penalized, which we never were under Tressel.
What I am trying to say is if we clean up a few things that are easy to control, we can get better.
Then say that instead of making an odd thread about Braxton punting a ball.
You statement about " I'm just more of a fan of handing the ball to the ref, and not getting in opponents grillz", sounds like you stuck in the Tressel years. I'm sorry but we are in the Urban Age where a grudge is a grudge. Where you run up the score... where you over celebrate... and instead of taking a knee, we run the ball more another score or more yards. Enjoy Urban being here, because I think everyone already started without you.

+1. I would give you 100 if I had them. Great line from my favorite movie of all tIme. Kudos for spelling Pulaski's correct as well.
Not sure that is true. Once the clock is running and you don't have to snap the ball again the game can be considered over. A similar situation occurred in a game earlier this year (ND vs Stan I think). ND players threw their helmets off before game was officially over, but the ref announced there was no penalty since it was thought to be over. Same goes in nearly every game that ends in the victory formation. Players and coaches get on the field well before the clock runs out, yet you never see anything called.
That movie is on repeat at my house till new years! And I currently live in Wisconsin and there are alot of Polish folks up here. Pulaski is an easy one. Przeseweski is a rough one.
I am a Buckeye...proof there is a God in Heaven who loves me.
Diddy is not a troll! He was asking a legitimate question. He obviously re-watched The Game like every good Buckeye fan does at some point and noticed at the very end the "punt" by Braxton. Others have asked about it on here and haven't been lambasted by their fellow Bucknutters. I assume it's because people think Diddy was flaming Braxton or is an OSU troll. He's not.
Sarah sorry about the Herpes.
don't they just use a bare hand?
The Father, The Son... well, it's the
