I humbly bow before you!!
We will see Brian Sipe NEXT year in he Shoe!. He is the QB coach at SDSU
They'll hire Josh McDaniels and he'll end up being fired in under three years.
Hello corch Saban. Cant wait. 7mm per?
Browns and Cavs fan right here also. I actually played N.I.A.A. football for the Pontiac Park Browns here in Columbus back in the old days when we had Charles White at RB. Been a Browns fan since.

General Douglas MacArthur
Make that three...
I am still haunted by Craig Ehlo...
grew up watching World B. Free!!
Long time Browns fan here...
Shurmer getting canned is fine. Very uninspired performance.
Heckert on the other hand is the first Browns GM that could actually pick real talent. Not only could his draft picks play (and win starting jobs) even his undrafted free agents could play (Fort, Gipson). First GM since the team came back to do that. Decision to fire him was F____ING STUPID!
Haslam is already 0-1 in my book for that choice.
Long time Browns die-hard Fan here as well!
My first Game I went to with my Father and Uncle, Fair Hooker #43 and Frank Pitts #25 were the Starting WR's. Go Browns!!
Oh ya...there you go...Mike Phipps, bust from Purdue, was probably taking the snaps...some painful teams that set the stage for the arrival of Brian Sipe!
I agree with Shurmer getting the Boot but would also like to keep Heckert around.
I absolutely agree on firing Shumur. His inexperience as a head coach really showed in several bonehead coaching decisions he made during a few games. But as far as Heckert is concerned, this guy can draft like no other GM/Coach/President we have ever had in Cleveland. He was responsible for those great Philly teams that almost got to the Super Bowl a few times. I really believe that the owner is making a huge mistake by firing Heckert. The only savor I would except is if they hire Cowher and let him have full control of drafting and coaching. Go Browns.

I'm a Browns fan too. I long for the days of Kosar and company. It's been AGES since I've seen a dominating Browns football team. Just complete and utter misery. I don't know about Saban. He wasn't very successful at Miami and there's no guarantee he'll be a Harbaugh and turn around a franchise. The only reason to have him go to CLE is to get his ass out of Alabama. That would make the path even clearer for Urban to dominate. One less Goliath to face. It's practically a lose/win situation. I would rather have Cowher if he was even available, or somebody with a proven NFL track record.
And I shall rejoice in victory for another 365 days over That School Up North.
Saban wanted Brees, he didn't pass the Physical, so the organization passed on him and took Culpepper. If Saban would of got Brees in Miami he would still be coaching there.
This is a storied franchise with some of the best and most dedicated fans in the world, that have endured some of the worst BS the last 17 years. Haslam is gonna turn this ship around, no question.
Here We Go Brownies Here We Go. Woof Woof!
Eric Metcalf is the greatest .. I wouldn't mind saban but have a feelling McDaniels is going to end up with it .. Also wouldn't mind seeing Greg Roman or the Arians guy from Indy.. who ever gets the job will be better than Shurmur.
HERE WE GO BROWNIES!
Was 7 and the white, 3 quarter sleeve Sipe jersey was under the Christmas tree. Will never forget it.

You think the team got sold for over a $Billion because there are no Browns fans? Are you retarded? It has one of the biggest fan bases in the NFL. I know you were trying to make a joke but it makes no sense. The fact that you are from Florida makes it even dumber considering there are a ton of Browns fans there.
I remember going to my first Browns game and watching Leroy Kelly #44 playing running back. Probably mid to late 60's if I was guessing. Have been a Browns fan ever since!
Sorry folks, but it's not hard to pick starters when you inherit a crap roster. Heckert has done nothing special here. Not one of his draft picks has been an all-pro and fact of the matter is, his rosters are still only winning 4-5 games every year. Haslam has every right to bring in who he wants, Heckert hasn't earned anything.
Would really like David Shaw. He has NFL experience ( in our division) and obviously has learned from a guy like Harbaugh. He is #1 on my list but probably 0 chance as you say unless JH3 opens the wallet. I also like Jay Gruden. He would be solid. Not a Todd Bowles fan at all, just don't see it. I don't know enough about Horton and I'm not sure if I would like a 61 year old Saban. I do know one thing for sure, Banner and Haslam HAVE to get this right!
