As this season has passed, I have read so many posts that say; What could of happened or What should of happened with this team. Plus, a bunch of finger pointing at coaches and at administrator’s to why our beloved Buckeyes were not eligible for any post season.
I am going to get hammered for saying this: But, I’m totally satisfied how this season panned out and glad that we didn’t play for a national championship this year. If we were to get blow out in a BCS bowl it would cause a huge ripple effect and all the “ I told you so idiots” plus all weak team, weak schedule morons would come out of the woodwork.
Finishing UNDEFEATED let’s Urb and Co. Go full steam into prospects households and spread the good news about the direction The Ohio State University is headed!! Comments?

Perfect season and scenario. Bowl ban motivated the team enough to win all the games, and it gave them a free year to adjust to the spread. Sets next year up because we have amazing momentum but a chip still on our shoulder with unfinished business to prove. Return our whole offense, braxton LEGIT heisman trophy contender, and influx of ridiculous talent from recruiting. It's all good for buckeye fans
I totally agree..of course noone will ever know..but the bowl ban galvanized this team. Good % that this team would not be undefeated without the focus of just going 12-0.
I'm happy too...because after this weekend..there is no way whatsoever (regardless of what anyone here says..all the experts agree) OSU would be ranked ahead of the 1 loss Ga.-Bama winner..and I can't imagine the gnashing of teeth over that. Reality is..OSU has a better chance at #1 (AP) this way....ranked #3 and bowl eligible is a hopeless cause.

Iam so proud of this team, more so than any team that has played in S&G
This has been a crazy fun year.
I think we could play with nd. Im happy with 12-0, but 14-0 is much better. Honestly you couldnt ask for a better path to a nc game than this year.
We would have beat ND. If we would have lost, it would have been close. Against some other teams, however, we might have lost by multiple TD's like Bama and Oregon.
well, it turned out to be ND, they were very lucky to be where they are!! I agree, I was thinking more of the likes of Oregon/Tide

i think we might have givin a run for their money
If I remember correctly Oregon was supposed to run us into the ground a couple of years ago. Did they? With practice and knowing the opponent, Urb would have had the team ready. He honestly feels that this team can play with anyone.
As far as the season goes, it was great--enough nail biters but this team was a team of finishers. They never gave up and always finished better than they started. That is a mark of good coaching and great work ethic. I am thrilled with the seniors that had nothing to do with Tat gate and for the underclassmen who wanted to give these seniors a proper send off. Now the seniors next year have to prove themselves as true leaders being pissed off and playing mad all year. I am hopeful that they will.
You honestly think we would lose big to the Domers?
nah, Actually I was thinking of the dreaded SEC foe.
