#1 - Nikola Tesla: the smartest human being to ever live.
#2 - Edgar Cayce: greatest psychic to ever live.

#4 - Any scientist or military personnel that is brave enough to talk about their experiences at [ area 51 ]

Wth the exception of Jefferson, I prefer any other four of your notables to your existing top five. Methinks you are quite the student of history.
Nikola Tesla would have been my #1 but I thought we could only use living ppl. History has shunned him, but the dude blew Edison out of the water.
Illegitium Non Carborundum
Unfortunately Paul Davis was killed in duty on November 5 2012. However yes a top 5 to meet. His service to our country and the world should not go unnoticed!
I'm liking your list. For me:
no longer living (at least on this planet)
Bill O'Reilly. (For a glimpse into their differin opinions)
That's a shame, too bad that happened. Wasn't he a part of seal team 6 that WAs shot down in their chopper? God bless our troops.
That's terrible.God bless him, and his family. I'm a fireman and he's my hero! He arranged that piece of shits meeting with the devil and I like to think he's got pineapple up his ass right now!
That's not true, it was an internet rumor that got blown way out of proportion. He isn't in combat, and he didn't kill Osama. lol.
big Men in Black fan ehh?
Lol.... No but now that you mention it.. Yeah
I dream of a day when chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned.
My list would not be just limited to the living. In general, I don't give a crap about any musicians, movie stars, or sports stars. I like each of those....but I am not one that would be "impressed" by meeting any one in those categories.
My all-time list....
1. Ronald Reagan
2. Bob Hope (for his decades of service and experiences; plus, he was a Buckeye.)
3. Abraham Lincoln
4. My relatives who served in the Civil War
5. Geo. Washington
In honor of Veteran's day
My military 5:
Robert E Lee
Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son.
-- Dean Wormer
Easy .. Dennis Rodman.
I'm baffled by people who would choose to hang out with moviestars. Possibly there is confusion with the stars and the roles they play.
I would dearly love to have a few hours of conversation with my dad. He died in 1982.
Robert E Lee was a brilliant military tactician and a gentleman, what questions I would have.
CS Forester wrote military fiction based on fact, another brilliant military mind.
It would really be fun to apply Abe Lincoln's sensibility to today's issues.
Finally Woody, I was lucky enough to have some conversations with him (mostly about
history). He was cool.
Clemente is my favorite baseball player ever even though I have never been a Pirates fan. Great human being as well.
Good days, bad days --- always a Buckeye. Time to begin the assault on the 2014 BCS National Championship
Surprised no one has mentioned Archie Griffin. Would definitely be on my list. Joe Walsh, John Unitas, General Patton, and my Dad. Been gone for over 20 years but I still miss him.
Dallas mavs owner ( just party with him)
Sammy the bull gravano
