If the Cavs do make the trade with Rockets and have #12 then I would think Ross would be their target if he's there. Possibly Zeller if Ross is gone. I wouldn't think this deal goes down until the Cavs see whose available when the pick is up.
I really like the idea of MKG too (if we can't get Beal). He has the kind of attitude and work ethic that fits the city of Cleveland. He doesn't seem at all like a "ME" guy or a prima donna. Plus he played high school ball with Kyrie and they have a bond on and off the court already. His tenacity on the boards and on defense make it seem like he is a fit with what Coach Scott is looking for. Similar to Tristan Thompson last year. A little limited offensively, but relentless on defense and on the boards. I know you can't have a team full of these guys that are limited offensively, but to have a couple is key. That may be why they want to trade Andy. To get a guy like Ross or Zeller who are skilled offensively.
Seems the Cavs like Waiters after Beal and MKG. My guess is they take MKG if Beal is gone and he is there, but if CHA takes MKG and WAS takes Beal the Cavs would probably try to trade down a couple spots and still get Waiters. Sounds like if they get stuck at #4 and MKG and Beal are both gone they take Waiters instead of Barnes. Interesting.

If I remember correctly there was a ton of talk about trades before the draft last year (not Cavs, but just in general) and it played out as chalk. I was looking at some of the vegas props and it is interesting.
I'm not opposed to Fab Melo. He is a true center while Nicholson is not. I'm really unsure of the Cavs overall plan. If the Cavs want to get a center, I'd prefer Melo over Ezeli, Bernard James, Plumlee, etc.
