Chase Winovich is very close to committing. the problem is no one knows where. He was at Pitt today and some people think he will officially commit to them tomorrow. If he doesnt and keeps his plans to visit tOSU this weekend then he probably sign with us.
I piss excellence.
I wonder why he is so interested in Pitt?
And I shall rejoice in victory for another 365 days over That School Up North.
Cite your source. You basically cut and pasted from 11W.
I was about to say this...yeah give 11W their props here..its a great site that deserves the hits
When everyone runs out...we run in. Support your firemen.
I just gave them credit for the Winovich info in Bills tidbits as well as credit for some Settle/Hand info I posted in the thread Shurburtt started...love going over to 11W's....they do a great job for a free site
He won't play here IMO. He's the same size as Berger and Booker and is ranked lower then both. We are going to be playing mostly 2-LB sets and with what we got and potentially getting Kwon, I don't think this kid has a shot at the field.
Look at his offer list not his ranking....the offer list tells you all you need to know about how good he is....plus good chance Booker and him won't be competing as they prolly won't play the same position.
I think that's a reason Chase is considering Pitt. I think he is a great player and everything, but would he really beat out Kwon, Booker, or Berger? I don't see that happening. I want Chase, but I think he will choose Pitt in the end. +1.
We may have lost the battle......but not the war.
Ditto. I think it's Pitt or Tsun all because of depth chart.
BIG Champs 2013 [Buckeyes]
OSU coaches want Winovich, fine if he picks us. But if not, and we sound like we get McMillian, this is the year to go for 6 OL, we are in on a lot OL for sure. Kids like Richardson from Ohio and Ragnow from Minnesota camping for offers as well.
There is also a chance kids like Worley grow into WSLB's as well. Hubbard could end up an OSLB.
Pitt would not surprise, lots of kids from his HS play there, and you could play earlier with their lack of talent.
Maybe even sneak a SSDE like Derek Barnett in.
If he wants in, great. If not, stock pile that OL or DL with one more healthy body.

Not to mention Mike Mitchell and Trey Johnson.
My bad, I wasnt thinking about that, just wanted to get the info out there.
I like what you bring to the table, your energy, work ethic and information is top shelf.
But I posit you are and have misread this one.
Please enlighten us Ole Nostradamus.
