Hey all, I don't post on here a lot, but I enjoy reading all the insiders information. With that said, just heard that Coach Tressel is returning to YSU as the new President. Current president is set to retire in July I believe. Having graduated from YSU and being a student there in the 90's watching Tressel win National Championships this will be a great boost to the Mahoning Valley. He did many great things for our area when he was here. Thought I would pass this along.
Thank you for this update, I will share the good news with some very happy Buckeyes back home. Fantastic news.
Much appreciate that Brutus.
Do you have a link? Or what is your source.
Also, you should post more often! :-)
If this pans out, then Best wishes to Coach Tress and YState

Good luck Tressel!
We may have lost the battle......but not the war.
"according to a source familiar with the goings on behind the doors of the WHAC,there is absolutely no panic.Actually, quite the contrary."
I'm all in favor of keeping dangerous weapons out of the hands of fools. Let's start with typewriters.

I have a doctorate and let me tell you, JT has more organizational and planning skills in his little finger than most college presidents with doctorates. He is in fact a consumate planner/organizer. Plus he has wonderful empathy for students and their needs. He also has the positive name recognition in NE Ohio to be a very effective fund raiser. This is not PR move, but I think an astute move which puts JT exactly where he ought to be. I for one hope the rumor is true!
