Which do you prefer and why. For me it's college. Tradition, rivalries and games seem to have more energy. Players go all out more in college I think.

College for sure. But I do like the league
I think the answer is pretty obvious considering we're all on a CFB team's message board. College by far but I love love love the NFL playoffs.
College by a land slide.
I don't belong to a bengals can website if that says anything.
Sarah sorry about the Herpes.
Cfb all the way. I usually only watch the nfl once cfb season is over, which this year started early for us
College and its not even close. I actually cant believe how much more enjoyable the NFL has gotten over the past few years. More points and exciting games and less 9-3 games. But the rivalries and recruiting and the way you have new players coming in all the time makes college so much better. Plus I'm a Browns fan...so of course i'd rather watch the Buckeyes win

They are actually about tied for me. College football on its own is better, but the post season format causes it to lose alot excitement come December and January. That along with the fact that one loss kills a teams chances at a national title, thus rendering alot of regular season games meaningless.
NFL gains points for its awesome playoff system thus keeping the relevancy of many games late into the regular season more interesting.
College football would win if it was only down to comparing the in game atmosphere and pagentry.
Is there anything else than College ball? The energy, effort given by players and intertainment value of college ball is so far superior to pro ball there is no contest.
College for the reasons gobucks stated. Plus there are actual underdogs in College Football unlike the NFL.
Nfl is boring as balls
Every week it seems like all the match ups suck

NFL is all about money. Parity has turned the game into a boring exercise.
I wish I could say the NFL. I've been an NFL fan since before I could remember, and only a college football fan when I was 10. But being a Jets fan is sports suicide, and Ohio State just makes following college football 100 times better. Roger Goodell is also...awful. I just can't stand the guy anymore, too many stupid rules are in place that are not making the league safer, they're just making the game worse. Plus, how can I say no to Urban Meyer?
I literally don't watch the NFL. No interest whatsoever except former Buckeyes.
College and it's not even close. I have this argument ALL the time with people at work though. The passion and tradition in college football is incredible. I think it has a lot to do with where you grow up. If you grow up in a big city with an NFL team then those people tend to favor the NFL. It would also help if the Browns could be half way decent once in a while. The fact that they suck, they make poor draft decisions, and they are just downright unlucky makes it tough for me to get into NFL. I do show my Browns loyalty by NOT rooting for anyone else though. Being able to follow recruiting year round is an addiction for me. I forget about the NFL after the Super Bowl for like eight months. Buckeyes all the way for me!
College FB. I'm in a FFL league with friends of 20-25 years, but that's the only reason I watch the NFL. Love the tradition, and that people have a real connection to the schools (by attending the school, or living in the area like so many Ohioans relate to OSU).
However, I much prefer the NBA to college until March. There's no real connection like in the NCAA, but the talent in the NBA is insane. I don't let the player BS skew my vision of what I'm watching. I rarely go to games (if I get Suns tickets for free, I'll go), so the only money they're getting from me is TV commercial revenue. But the talent of the NBA is insane. I watched a 6'9" Luis Scola make an insane spin move to the bucket the other night - a move that no guy who is over 6'3" is making in college. The talent gap to me is huge.
You can't handle the truth
The only reason for the NFL is to give pay checks big enough to make college ball players compete at a unbelievable level. If I watch an NFL game, the 1st thing I do is look to see who is playing from OSU. Then root for the one with the most
